Gowdy has done it repeatedly over the past year, spoken out in support of witch hunter Robt Mueller. He did it twice in this one interview on Fox despite also admitting Mueller put
Rep Trey Gowdy is obviously a smart and perceptive guy, so it’s hard to reconcile his praise of dirty cop Robert Mueller, which he continues to heap upon him in overly generous portions.
There is a wealth of information indicating that Mueller is a partisan hit man going after President Trump and compromised in his personal relationships as well as his involvement in dubious operations and practices while at the FBI, which included running cover for the IRS scandal, Eric Holder in Fast and Furious, and Saudis involved in 9/11, ensuring that nobody was ever charged or prosecuted.
Representative Gowdy was in some of those hearings in which the perpetrators were allowed to go free, in part due to the political operative Robert Mueller’s lack of willingness to pursue an investigation and his failure to be forthright in the evaluation and presentation of the situations.
To even the casual observer it seems obvious he was abusing his office to protect his fellow DC insiders and those that they wanted protected. He was also the driving force behind the removal from all FBI training manuals, in the days after 9/11, of any references to Islamic terrorism, despite the evidence his own agency had that indicated a definite connection. At the 3:26 point in the video Gowdy says of Mueller, “I happen to like him, I respect him, I think he’s going to do a good job,” and then credits Mueller’s faulty HR practices as the reason he’s got to anti-Trump operatives on his team. What about the 16 lawyers with the same zeal for overthrowing the President, Representative, is that the product of him just being naive or a bad judge of character as well?
If it is just due to his blindness to naked political ambition is that really the guy that should be leading the investigation? Of course that’s not why he chose who he did. Mueller chose his team based upon their desire to “get Trump.” Gowdy’s claims to the contrary only serve to call his own motivations into question.
Once again he states for a second time, at the 7:14 mark, “I support Bob Mueller. Let me say that again for my Democrat friends,” but states that he wants to provide oversight. There’s a lot more than oversight needed in this mess, Rep Gowdy. A purge is called for and many prison sentences, including a very long one for your respected Bob Mueller and his crony, FBI Director and 15-year crony, Christopher Wray.
A sudden personnel shift seems to have taken place with regard to who is in front of the camera. Now Gowdy is on all of the time, seemingly attempting to ride the coattails of Devin Nunes. It was Nunes who did the hard work and took the hits in order to pry the information in the memo out of the grip of the DOJ and FBI obstructionists.
Now Gowdy is everywhere taking credit for the work of others, Jordan, Gaetz, DeSantis, Gohmert, Meadows and Gosasr, to name a few. Why is he suddenly the face of the effort to clean up the FBI and DOJ, with at best a compromised dedication to objectively pursue Mueller and a frequently stated bias towards the agency. He repeated them during this interview. Why does Gowdy still continue to stress his support for the criminal leading the attack on President Trump?
Taken at face value the contradictions don’t make sense.
