Waters attempts to validate her incessant calls for impeachment of President Trump by making up reasons that aren’t found in the Constitution. Dislike is enough…
Rep Maxine Waters (D-CA) is asked by the Bloomberg anchor what she hopes to achieve with her now trademark calls for impeachment of President Trump. That part is clear, notoriety and possibly success in crippling his Presidency, if not driving him out of office.
A much harder question would be what makes her efforts legitimate or constitutional. She asks, “Why spend your energy calling for an impeachment.
Waters’ response is one contortion after another, all based in “what she thinks” or feels, vividly showing that she has no legal basis for what she’s doing. Her job for the anti-American Democrats is simply to smear the President and set a hostile, predatory tone.
She says, “I have learned over the years that I have been in this business, that there are few people who are willing to speak truth to power.” Her attempts to portray herself as heroic lack that fundamental element she described, that of truth.
The queen of clichés says, “It is not thought well of to step outside of that box. When I talk about impeachment I describe what I think about this President.” She then goes back to a time over a year ago and once again spreads the false narrative that President Trump mocked a disabled reporter and the Entertainment Tonight video. He was elected after both of those incidences so the people have spoken with full knowledge. It’s not like they were dropped on him after the election. They didn’t matter and that reality is frustrating the left. Some of that frustration is vented with the flapping of huge gums within their repugnant mouths in the conduct of baseless personal attacks.
She thinks name calling, which also occurred before the election, is unacceptable so she’s creating her own standard, the snowflake “You made me feel so sad” standard for impeachment. True, it’s not in the Constitution, but Democrats only consider it to be applicable when it is in some way enabling an attack on the United States or its citizens.
She says “For people to allow this kind of behavior to be normalized is beyond what I believe our ‘democracy’ should be all about. And so I encourage people and I inspire people.”
More typically, as a hideous, obnoxious hag, she strongly repulses people and makes them feel like they have to gag. She’s doing it as she speaks, in fact. The standard, since she’s not familiar with the Constitution, is high crimes and misdemeanors. Calling someone names is neither. Making snowflakes feel inadequate or sad also is not.
Put the manhole cover back in place and shut the heck up. Your ignorance and reckless partisanship are showing.
