President Trump stopped as he was leaving the White House on his way to inspect the border wall prototypes to speak to reporters. The first topic addressed was the firing of globalist Rex Tillerson from his position as Secretary of State. Rather than focusing on the departing Tillerson, Trump led off by speaking of his new Secretary of State, Mike Pompeo. [[WATCH VIDEO BELOW]]
Trump said, “I’ve worked with Mike Pompeo now for quite some time, tremendous energy, tremendous intellect, we’re always on the same wavelength, the relationship has been very good and that’s what I need as Secretary of State.”
He said, “I wish Rex Tillerson well.” Gina [Haspel], by the way, who I have gotten to know very well, who I’ve worked [with] very closely, will be the first woman director of the CIA. She is an outstanding person who also I have gotten to know very well. So I’ve gotten to know a lot of people very well over the last year and I’m really at a point where we’re getting very close to having the cabinet and other things that I want.”
He said of Tillerson, “I very much appreciate his commitment and his service and I wish him well. He’s a good man.” Asked what he told Tillerson, Trump said, “Rex and I have been talking about this for a long time. We got along actually quite well but we disagreed on things. When you look at the Iran deal, I think it’s terrible, I guess he thinks it’s okay.” Trump says that with Mike Pompeo, “We have a very similar thought process, I think it’s going to go very well.”
Trump added, “Rex is a very good man. I like Rex a lot. I really appreciate his commitment and his service, and I’ll be speaking to Rex over a long period of time,” noting that ultimately the cause wasn’t a specific incident, but the difference in their viewpoints and approach, “it was a different mindset, a different thinking.”
Another area in which Pompeo will be different from Tillerson will be the manner in which he approaches the lawlessness at the State Department, both present day and in the past and the continuing cover ups. The deep state criminals now have some real concerns with the former CIA Director taking over at State, particularly with the House Intelligence Committee and key Republican Congressmen moving to look into the involvement of the deep state State Department in the Obama regime’s corruption of that agency.
There was likely a very good reason why this happened while Tillerson was out of the country and why his top aide and spokesman, Steve Goldstein, was sent packing at the same time. James Comey was out of the office when he got the axe as well. Sometimes it’s easier to protect documents, and offers a cleaner separation if there’s a physical divide at the time. Of course, that only works if the documents aren’t in the Secretary of States’ bathroom.
The globalists that never made any sense being there in the first place, Gary Cohn, Jared Kushner, Ivanka Trump, Dina Powell and now Rex Tillerson are all taking a hit. H.R. McMaster can’t be feeling too good about his future right about now.
