President Trump knows what is going on at DOJ and FBI, which should make some of the criminals occupying high positions very nervous. He promises to correct the disgrace
President Trump stopped to speak to reporters as he was heading out to give a speech to the graduating class of the FBI Academy on Friday.
President Trump left little doubt that he is fully aware of what is going on at both the FBI and DOJ with his comments and, unless AG Sessions and Director Wray get with the cleanup operations, they may be in for a very rough ride and a limited tenure in their positions.
While promising to “rebuild the FBI bigger and better than ever,” President Trump commented on the sad state of affairs at the Bureau, saying, “You look at those documents and how they’ve done that is really, really disgraceful and we have a lot of very angry people that are seeing it.”
Trump has learned to tone down his commentary over the past year and we do have to look below the surface a bit more than before, but the tone and general context scream out major shakeup and a Presidential directive to root out the corruption and start with a clean slate.
He may wait for the Inspector General’s report in order to have a pretext as protection from the leftist propagandists in politics and the media, or he may decide that he doesn’t have that luxury and follow up his actions with the revelations believed to be contained within that report.
It seems to be a safe bet that changes are coming soon, if President Trump can navigate through the sewer of the deep state bureaucracy that has hijacked both agencies. Many would argue that neither the feckless and at this point complicit AG Jeff Sessions or the crony of the corrupt, Christopher Wray, would be the individuals to take on that challenge.
When law enforcement participates with and represents those engaging in criminal conduct it is no longer law enforcement but has become a law breaking criminal enterprise in disguise. That is the FBI and DOJ President Trump has to overhaul. He described it saying, “It’s a sad thing to watch, I will tell you that.”
President Trump attacked the inquisitors who have been falsely undermining his Presidency since day one through their Russia investigation, saying, “Let’s put it this way. There is absolutely no collusion, that has been proven. When you look at the committees, whether it’s the Senate or the House, everybody, my worst enemies, they walk out, they say, ‘There is no collusion but we’ll continue to look.'”
He continues, “They’re spending millions and millions of dollars, there is absolutely no collusion, I didn’t make a phone call to Russia, I had nothing to do with Russia. Everybody knows it. That was a Democrat hoax, it was an excuse for losing the election.” That is an odd statement. Surely President Trump must know it was a scheme to overthrow him and exonerate Clinton. Is he not yet ready to go public with those allegations, or will he be letting his proxies make them for him?
He then goes on to say, “What we have found and what they have found after looking at this, really scam, is they found tremendous, whatever you want to call it, you’re going to have to make up your own determination, but they’ve found tremendous things on the other side.”
Trump says, “When you look at the Hillary Clinton investigation, it was, you know, I’ve been saying it for a long time, that was a rigged system, folks. That was a rigged system. When you look at what they did with respect to the Hillary Clinton investigation, it was rigged. And there’s never been anything like it in this country that we’ve ever found before. It’s very, very sad.”
He was asked about a Pardon for General Flynn, which he declined to comment “about pardons for Michael Flynn yet,” other than to say “when you look at what’s gone on with the FBI and with the Justice Department people are very, very angry.”
Jeff Sessions and Christopher Wray might want to get busy, either doing their jobs or packing up their desks. Andrew McCabe and Rod Rosenstein can just start packing.
