President Trump clarified his position for those who need to have the obvious stated for them in a press conference on Monday. He had just met with FBI Director Wray and Attorney General Sessions and updated the American people on the open investigation into the incident in Charlottesville, VA.
President Trump described the dead agitator as an innocent American, which is overly generous. She was there participating with a group of notorious thugs, Black Lives Matter, Communists, radical Democrats and AntiFa, who espouse and engage in violence, brutality, the throwing of urine, feces, eggs, bottles, bricks, rocks, Molotov cocktails and more at truly innocent people.
For political reasons he presented her as something she isn’t and that’s understandable, given the situation he’s in. Gutless Republicans have left him hanging in the wind as Democrats and the same Soros globalist groups who sponsor the leftist thugs the dead woman was involved with incessantly attack him.
It’s worth noting that during President Trump’s remarks he assumes a neutral, fair and just posture, saying, “To anyone who acted criminally in this weekend’s racist violence, you will be held fully accountable.” That statement, if it is true and we have no reason to believe the President isn’t sincere, means that regardless of which side of the issue the individuals committing the offenses represented, they will be prosecuted.
That also likely means that that the mayor’s office will be held accountable for the chain of events that took place through their manipulation, starting with the invitation of the AntiFa to come into the city to physically challenge and engage those protesting the removal of the monument. All of those outside instigators who have been a fixture at racist uprisings since Ferguson, if they can be identified, who came for violence, the BLM, commies, AntiFa and other agitators who committed documentable offenses will likewise be prosecuted.
If the left and CNN want to believe that the Trump administration engages in one set of justice for them that is less strictly enforced than the one for everyone else, they may have a rude awakening in store.
President Trump said, “Racism is evil, and those who cause violence in its name are criminals and thugs, including the KKK, neo-Nazis, white supremacists and other hate groups that are repugnant to everything we hold dear as Americans.” It would have been appropriate to include Black Lives Matter, the New Black Panthers, the communists, AntiFa and other groups on the left by name as well but not wise politically. If they are not excluded from the investigation there’s no reason to give the enemy more ammunition.
He stated that we are equal under the law which, as long as Hillary Clinton and the other obvious criminals from the past regime are allowed to roam free, is a hollow, laughable statement that diminishes the rest of his message.
President Trump reminds us that as a candidate he pledged to restore law and order and that the “federal law enforcement agencies are following through on that pledge.” He says, “We will defend and protect the sacred rights of all Americans and we will work together so that every citizen in this blessed land is free to follow their dreams in their hearts and to express the love and joy in their souls.”
All Americans includes white people who are presently having their history purged from the public square and those who regularly come under attack from the left. President Trump just promised to protect their rights too. Even if the left didn’t hear his words or refuse to understand them, white Americans under attack, discriminated against, accused of having privilege where it doesn’t exist and of being evil because of the color of their skin, did.
Perhaps this incident will be the point where white Americans finally push back and tell our attackers to shut up, leave us alone, live their own lives, stop demanding free everything and a government mandated advantage in everything and blaming us every time they fail.
That too, is un-American. It would be nice to hear those words from our President as well.
