Longtime Trump bodyguard Keith Schiller testified before the House Intel Committee on Tuesday and throughly destroyed the claims made in the Fusion GPS dossier, that Trump…
President Trump’s longtime bodyguard, Keith Schiller, who had been with the Trump organization for roughly 18 years, retired in September. He was back guarding the President again on Tuesday, after being called to testify in the Russia witch hunt by the House Intelligence Committee.
Schiller had nothing but positive things to say about the President’s conduct while they were in Moscow in 2013 for the Miss Universe Pageant. He noted that after a business meeting, one of those involved offered to “send five women” to Donald Trump’s hotel room. Schiller told the Congressman he replied on behalf of Mr. Trump by saying, “We don’t do that type of stuff.”
The two sources leaking the details of the closed door session to NBC News stated that his statements were made in the context of his resolute insistence that the allegations contained in the Fusion GPS dossier regarding prostitutes coming to Mr. Trump’s room were completely false. Schiller’s response was a colorful, “Oh my God, that’s bulls**t.”
He said the conversation about the five women occurred after a morning meeting to discuss the pageant had ended. Schiller says that he mentioned it to Trump as they were walking back to their hotel rooms that evening and that the two of them had a laugh about it as he walked his boss back to his room. Trump went to bed alone with Schiller standing guard outside at his door for a little while.
Two other sources said Schiller testified he was very certain that nothing happened. Schiller noted that both he and Mr. Trump were well aware of the reputation Russian hotels have for being bugged with video devices.
Schiller’s attorney, Stuart Sears, had a few choice words for the committee afterwards, saying in a statement, “the versions of Mr. Schiller’s testimony being leaked to the press are blatantly false and misleading. We are appalled by the leaks that are coming from partisan insiders from the House Intelligence Committee.”
He continued, “It is outrageous that the very Committee that is conducting an investigation into leaks – purportedly in the public interest – is itself leaking information and defaming cooperative witnesses like Mr. Schiller. The Chairman and Ranking Member should investigate and hold accountable whoever is responsible for leaking false and misleading versions of Mr. Schiller’s testimony. This conduct is indefensible and calls into question the credibility and motives of the Committee’s investigation.”
A White House lawyer who was familiar with the day’s events and background said that the White House “and fair-minded people are pleased that Mr. Schiller was able to debunk yet another of the false claims in the fantasy dossier funded by the DNC and the Clinton campaign and prepared during a time its foreign author worked closely with paid Russian operatives.”
He neglected to mention Steele was likely working with the FBI and Hussein Obama as well. So where is the prosecution for all of these political criminals? Why is the only one being investigated one of the few innocent guys in DC?
