Making racist and life threatening statements against cops is not a good idea, not even from the relative safety of a computer screen and a Facebook account. One hate-filled Detroit man is in the process of learning that lesson the hard way. Nheru Gowan Littleton, presumably a black man from the content of his rant, is headed to court, charged with making a terroristic threat and using a computer to commit a crime.
In a July 9, 2016 post that appeared on Littleton’s Facebook page, he is alleged to have written, “F them racist a** cops!!! Kill them ALL. Black Lives Matter. Black people should start killing all white cops just like they are killing us!!! Then and only then will this s*** stop. Why you ask? Because white people will be dropping like flies!!!”
His reason for making the posts is believed to be in response to the shooting of Alton Sterling in Baton Rouge, LA, four days earlier. The same day as his post went up five Dallas Police Officers were killed by a lone gunman as they worked a racist anti-cop street protest in the city. Those five officers were believed by the gunman at the time to have all been white and were selected as targets based upon their skin color, just as Mr. Littleton recommended.
While local prosecutor Kym Worthy had originally decline to press charges, somehow seeing the calls to commit murder on public officials as not being a criminal act, the Michigan Attorney General saw things differently. AG Bill Schuete announced that he will be pursuing prosecution of Littleton.
AG Schuete said in October when the charges were filed, “These charges are solid and substantive. I stand with the cops. These threats are serious. They provoke violence. We filed these charges; they’re solid, and this is a fight worth fighting for.”
Of course the George Soros-funded anti-American liberals at the ACLU have stuck their noses into it, with the Michigan ACLU deputy legal director, Dan Korobkin, saying, “He was sharply critical of the police, and it’s understandable that some found what he said to be inappropriate and disturbing. But let’s be clear: he didn’t hurt anyone, nor did he plan to.”
Let’s be clear, he called for violence and for others to hurt someone. We don’t know that he didn’t hurt anyone. Police were shot later that same day and many times since then. We have no way of knowing if his posts played a role in any of that or other violence. What we do know is that he called for police officers to be shot and killed, white ones.
The ACLU agitator said, “In America, we don’t arrest people or prosecute them as terrorists just because they say things the police don’t like. We’re not a police state.” He called for the murder of white police officers, that is very different from merely saying something police don’t like. It might even fall into the hate crime category. It’s amazing how these clever lawyers at the ACLU are so adept at playing dumb as a legal tactic for making their case.
Littleton is scheduled to appear in court on Wednesday, facing a possible forty year prison sentence.
Thank you for reading and sharing my work – Facebook is trying to starve us out of existence, having cut literally 98% of our traffic over the last year. Your shares are crucial for our survival, and we thank you. We’ve also created a presence on Gab.ai and MeWe.com, although their reach is presently much smaller, the continued abuse by Facebook of conservative voices leaves us no option. We’re remaining on Facebook for the time being, as we make the transition. Please take a look when you have a chance or if we “suddenly disappear” from Facebook as has happened to many other truth-tellers. They’ll either starve us out or take us down, one way or another, sooner or later.
