Steyn and Carlson make great sport of the juvenile language of delinquents Strzok and Page, questioning why they still have jobs and noting their conduct is what Congress was…
Tucker Carlson presents the case that the embarrassingly juvenile comments between Strzok and Page might be more than we want to know, with derisive comments for the “hillbillies” of Virginia as well as the “sleazy” Romanians, Russians and Italians they’ve thrown in along with their subversive anti-American commentary.
They share a good laugh after Tucker mocks their use of teenage shorthand “OMG” and Carlson questions what the “OUR task” was that Page was referring to as still being ahead of them might be.
Steyn points out, “Nobody ever resigns in Washington unless they’re caught up in this “#metoo” business. So if Lisa Page were to stand in front of a camera and say that Peter Strzok had conducted one meeting wearing Harvey Weinstein’s bathrobe he’d be out. But absent that nobody resigns.”
He continues, “I don’t understand why these two are still in ‘government service.'” Steyn comments on their bigoted insults of other nations, saying, “The banality of this,” mocking a previous Carlson guest who claimed that an oath means something to the corrupt anti-American partisans in the DOJ and FBI.
Steyn dismisses the feeble attempts to assign honor to the despicable duo, saying, “They’re just two love birds who apparently get turned on by hyper-partisan politics. They are completely unqualified for the jobs they are holding and why they are still holding those jobs is a complete disgrace to this FBI.”
Carlson points out that you’re more likely to die in an FBI job than to get fired from it. He asks, “You sort of wonder, like, what’s the FBI response to this?” Steyn replies that “The FBI response has been to protect itself” and points out that what is happening now was the very fear that was expressed at the time the FBI as first formed in 1908.
Congress was so concerned as to prompt the AG at the time to issue an assurance that “the FBI would not be used to monitor political dissent or to set loose investigations on politicians at the behest of parties and opponents in the White House.”
Steyn says, “What we’re seeing more and more clearly is that’s actually, 110 years later that’s the two things the FBI is doing. They set their dogs on Carter Page because they could get to their political opponents. They loosed them on a whole collection of Trump associates, basically, at the direction of the most senior figures in the Democratic Party.”
He adds, “This is an absolute disgrace and those two should not be in office.”
