Senate scumbag Chuck Schumer blatantly lied on CNN when questioned about a racist and sexist declaration he made and the vote that followed it against a white…
CNN propagandist Wolf Blitzer often plays video clips of past statements when he is asking an uncomfortable question of a guest to make it more difficult for them to lie in their response. He didn’t do that when questioning his fellow leftist, Senator Chuck Schumer, who denied his own words that are not only on video but are part of the Senate record, having been spoken during a speech from the lectern on the Senate floor.
The statement that Schumer falsely denies ever having made involves his declaration that he would vote against confirming Marvin Quattlebaum as a US District Court Judge for South Carolina because he is a white man. Schumer now claims he never made the racist and sexist remarks which is a blatant lie, easily proven in a video at this link.
In his attempt to lie his way out of the mess he created, Schumer goes into one of his typical lying leftist spins, telling Blitzer, “I didn’t say that. Yeah, that was right-wing radio, who never really tells the truth distorting what I said.” Were it a Republican Blitzer was attempting to question, this is the point where he would interrupt and ask them to watch the clip proving otherwise. Instead Blitzer just stood by and let the lies flow.
Schumer then goes into a diatribe about Obama having nominated two people for the seat, both of them blacks, a fact that nobody publicly questioned as being racially motivated at the time. Schumer claims that his comments were made in the interest of racial diversity, which, in its application is still racism any way you slice it.
Blitzer then asks if it was political payback, which is what Schumer just described. Schumer simply redirects his lie creation to state that it was not and then puts a politically correct spin as he describes how payback isn’t payback, consistent with his claim that his racism and sexism were neither.
As for the claim by Schumer that Republicans were politically motivated and held up the previous nominations for those reasons, Rep Trey Gowdy has already pointed out that Schumer was, in yet another regard, a liar.
Gowdy Tweeted out on Thursday, “I hate to interrupt Senator Schumer with facts. But one nominee was withdrawn because of a significant bond issue, while the other became the Chief Justice of the South Carolina Supreme Court.”
How stupid and dishonest are the Democrats of New York to keep sending this embarrassing piece of liberal trash to represent them in the Senate. There used to be a requirement of at least a basic level of integrity and character to be a US Senator. Clearly that standard no longer applies.
