Making his brief remarks regarding his takeover as White House Communications Director, Anthony Scaramucci included the announcement to the gathered press that Sarah Huckabee Sanders would be the new White House Press Secretary. Their response left little doubt about how much they welcome that prospect.
As he congratulated her as she stood in front of the group, applauding, two individuals, those seated next to where she was standing applauded. The rest of the liberal trolls couldn’t even muster a polite gesture of recognition. This White House press corps is a classy bunch.
Scaramucci goes on to compliment Sean Spicer, saying, “He’s done an amazing job. This is obviously a difficult situation to be in and I applaud his efforts here. And I love the guy and I wish him well, and I hope he goes on to make a tremendous amount of money.”
He clears the air about speculation that there is friction between him and Reince Priebus, noting they’ve been personal friends for six years and that they are “a little bit like brothers, where we rough each other up once in a while, which is totally normal for brothers. There’s a lot of people in here that have brothers and so you get that. But he’s a dear friend.”
He continued, “He brought me into the political system, he brought me into the Republican National Committee network, he introduced me to Governor Walker, we’ve spent many times together socially. He reveals that he invited Priebus to join his company, SkyBridge Capital as chief operating officer.
Scaramucci jokes about that being a poor decision on Priebus’ part, forgetting that his audience is there for their daily cup of blood and in addition to not having time for niceties such as to applaud for Sanders, they don’t have a sense of humor either. Obama’s jokes were funny, Josh Earnest was funny. Nothing about the last six months has been a bit funny to these perpetually butt-hurt parasites.
