Sarah Sanders once again holds her ground and disappoints the liberal media press corps, refusing to offer an opinion on issues beyond her scope and authority. That’s the lawyers’

Margaret Brennan of CBS News asks White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders about the future testimony of former Trump strategist Steve Bannon, following the ten hours of non-testimony before “Shifty the Bobble-Head,” Adam Schiff (D-CA) and the rest of the House Intelligence Committee a day earlier.

Brennan says, “Specifically some of the criticism has been aimed at the White House [nothing new for mainstream propagandists there] about guidance that has supposedly been given as to what can and cannot be said, specific topics that are off-limits and the scope of executive privilege.”

She asks, “Without getting into the details of that, can you at least define for us what the White House is telling attorneys falls into the scope of executive privilege?”

Sanders replied, “Yeah, I can tell you that this White House is following the same practice that many White Houses before us have, that have gone back decades. That there is a process that you go through any time you have Congressional inquiries touching on the White House, the Congress should consult with the White House prior to obtaining confidential material.”

She continued, “This is part of a judicial recognized process. We want to follow through that. We’ve been fully cooperative with the ongoing investigations and we’re going to continue to do so and we encourage the committees to work with us to find the appropriate accommodation in order to ensure Congress obtains all of the information that they’re looking for.”

Sanders isn’t a lawyer and doesn’t pretend to speak as if she were or to overstep her bounds. She refuses to discuss the details but reminds the reporter that the process, in its overall application, is the same as that of previous administrations. Of course previous administrations, even when headed by anti-American crooks like Obama and Clinton, never had to run a daily gauntlet of derogatory smears the way this one has. The Trump administration is getting a lot of experience in dealing with a weaponized media.

They need to exercise every option available to them, including exposing and prosecuting some of those criminals from the Obama regime and showing the American people who and what the Democrats really are in the lead up to the November elections.
