ROSENSTEIN MEMO REWRITES MUELLER AUTHORITY BEYOND LIMITS OF SESSIONS RECUSAL

Rosenstein, Mueller and Sessions are still at it, with a new, deliberately leaked memo attempting to extend Mueller’s authority past legal limitations of the Sessions recusal, what he…

rosenstein mueller

The latest revelation from the Rosenstein-Mueller witch hunt seems to be an obvious attempt to thwart the defensive efforts of Paul Manafort, whose lawyers pointed out in a motion to dismiss filing on March 27th, “Rosenstein could not appoint Mueller to any investigation outside the scope of the 2016 campaign since Sessions did not recuse himself for anything outside the campaign.”

Attorney Robert Barnes wrote at the time in Law and Crime, “If we follow that argument that would mean Sessions himself has exclusive authority to appoint a special counsel for non-collusion charges, and Sessions has taken no such action.”

Rosenstein or DOJ attorneys with access to his secret correspondence have produced in court a memo that he wrote to Robert Mueller, apparently for public consumption, realizing there were problems with his initial license to seek and destroy, which appears to be aimed at bolstering his authority, should the need arise in the future.

The memo has every appearance of being a document written for public consumption, repeating to Mueller the supposed basis for his appointment and effectively saying, “that includes this” as a means of eliminating a potential problem. Nobody knows how many other useful memos were written and never sent or written, sent and ignored as part of coup contingency planning. This is the only one they’ve chosen to release to the public so far.

In the memo, Rosenstein wrote, “The May 17, 2017 order was worded categorically in order to permit its public release without confirming specific investigations involving specific individuals. This memorandum provides a more specific description of your authority.” He’s stating his mandate was deliberately vague. You don’t want a fishing license that only allows tarpon when you hook a marlin. If you’re going to cheat, it’s helpful to have your goalposts on wheels.

How about we look at it another, you dirty globalist traitor? How about we recognize that you kept it vague deliberately so that you could give your witch hunt as much breadth in its scope as possible, having no charges to investigate listed and no idea what you might come up with and what direction would prove most productive in your effort to oust the President by whatever means possible?

Now that the vagueness is causing them problems with Mueller overstepping his “legal” authority, and having realized it would likely happen last year, they’re making this phony, secret document part of the original mandate for the coup disguised as a sham investigation. Clearly it’s an attempt to avoid having their case thrown out and the witch hunt ended. It’s got about as much credibility as the memos Comey wrote to himself and leaked or the one Susan Rice wrote to herself declaring that the crooked Obama wanted everything done “by the book.”

He goes on to expand the scope of Mueller’s fishing trip to include specifically Paul Manafort colluding with Russians in the 2016, which there still is no evidence of and with collusion not being a crime. Conspiracy would be a crime, but Rosenstein, for some reason, is hesitant to use that word.

He also green lights the pursuit of Manafort for his interactions with the Ukrainians “before and during the tenure of President Viktor Yanukovych, who was in office from February of 2010 to February of 2014. That means that Rosenstein is authorizing an investigation into something that has nothing to do with the Trump-Russia mandate, ended prior to the Trump campaign and any Sessions affiliation with it, and as such, is not covered by the recusal.

Rosenstein has no authority to instruct Mueller to investigate Manafort for alleged crimes from a period of time before the campaign and before the scope of the witch hunt. He’s attempting to falsely shore up the illegitimate investigation but Manafort’s lawyers have the law on their side. Even if the law is irrelevant and viewed as a quaint concept at the DOJ, the judge in the case may not be owned by the deep state. We’ll know soon enough.

This whole Rosenstein, Mueller investigation is disgraceful and disgusting. IT should be shut down as soon as possible. President Trump has broken NO laws, committed no collusion with Russia and this witch hunt should end and stop wasting our tax payer funds. President Trump has every right to file suit against everyone involved in this farce for sullying his good name.
