Rep Matt Gaetz (R-FL) has introduced, with Reps Gohmert and Biggs, a resolution calling for the conflicted Mueller to step down as special counsel railroading President Trump…
Finally there is the beginning of some movement among GOP lawmakers regarding the compromised, conflicted and likely criminally complicit Robert Mueller and the witch hunt he is running on behalf of himself and the Democrats against President Trump.
Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) introduced a resolution on Friday calling for Mueller to step down from his position as special counsel. In an interview with Breitbart News, Gaetz said, “Mueller’s got to go… Congressional pressure is growing by the hour.” Earlier in the week he hinted at the corruption Mueller seems to be a major player in, stating, “Mueller was not a spectator to the transactions that now give us grave concern.”
Matt Gaetz isn’t well known and many of the more familiar names are still reluctant to cross swords with the establishment never-Trump machinery. Rep Trey Gowdy (R-SC), was asked by Chris Wallace this past Sunday if he supports curtailing or ending the Mueller “investigation.” Gowdy replied, “I don’t, and I readily concede I’m in an increasingly small group of Republicans, I think Bob Mueller has a really distinguished career of service to our country.”
Of course Gowdy knows at least as much as the rest of us “average citizens,” so he must be familiar with Mueller’s mountain of conflicts of interest, the hiding of the racketeering surrounding the Uranium One deal from Congress, the stripping of all references to radical Islam from FBI training materials in league with Hussein Obama, and his intimate associations, beyond just the criminality with Rosenstein, Comey, McCabe and Weissmann. Geatz is correct, he’s in no way an impartial and detached, sidelines observer.
Still, Gowdy claimed Mueller is “a pretty apolitical guy,” adding, “I would encourage my Republican friends, give the guy a chance to do his job.” Excuse us, Mr. Gowdy, for not wanting to finance a damaging witch hunt on our President in deference to a guy who did nothing to investigate Fast and Furious during his tenure or any other abuses of power by the Obama administration. It seems he’s anything but apolitical and when the job he’s doing is a sleazy political hit job on the President, there’s no reason to allow it to continue, to “do his job,” as you say.
In a statement introducing his resolution, Gaetz pointed out the new evidence most of us are familiar with indicating that the FBI withheld key information regarding the Uranium One deal from Congress which exposed racketeering and corruption on the part of the Russia company, Rosatom, and others pressing the deal. One might argue that in many of those instances it took “two to tango,” and there was much more corruption being exhibited than just the Russians alone, some of it involved Mueller directly and other various high profile government officials.
In the statement, Gaetz said, “Although federal agents possessed this information in 2010, the Department of Justice continued investigating this ‘matter’ for over four years. The FBI, led at the time by Robert Mueller, required the confidential witness to sign a non-disclosure agreement.”
He pointed out that, “When the witness attempted to contact Congress and federal courts about the bribery and corruption he saw, he was threatened with legal action. By silencing him, Obama’s Justice Department and Mueller’s FBI knowingly kept Congress in the dark about Russia’s significant and illegal involvement with American uranium companies.”
Gaetz said, “These deeply troubling events took place when Mr. Mueller was the Director of the FBI. As such, his impartiality is hopelessly compromised. He must step down immediately.” His resolution is co-sponsored by Reps Andy Biggs (R-AZ) and Louis Gohmert (R-TX) Gaetz told Breitbart News, “The president is begging us for help. Congress should be doing more to highlight Mr. Mueller’s conflicts of interest.”
Sorry, Rep Gowdy, this little known rookie Rep isn’t as flashy, sure-footed or as witty as some of his colleagues might be, but he’s got more courage and integrity than most of his more famous counterparts. And despite the collective record, we send Congress to DC to represent us, not for comedy, intellectually superior demonstrations of their interrogation skills, or showy speeches.
We want honest representatives and we want them to stand up for us and our President and against the corruption that is the globalist Democrat – RINO machine.
