DiGenova relays the story of Mueller’s indictment of Russians who surprised him by showing up for trial. He’s not prepared, but the judge isn’t sympathetic to rogue…
Tucker Carlson raises one instance of what appears to be a trend, Robert Mueller screwing up a prosecution due in part to his reckless, overzealous, inappropriate and illegal practices. They discuss a situation that we addressed in February as Mueller and Rosenstein creating diversionary indictments as a way of saving their over-extend and exposed bacon.
The case, which is rapidly working its way through the courts, involved the customary Mueller rogue investigation followed by an illegitimate indictment of 13 Russians and 3 Russian companies. Mueller expected his abuse of power to go unchallenged. He guessed wrong. [[WATCH VIDEO BELOW]]
Tucker Carlson asks, “Why would it be https://rickwells.us/rosenstein-mueller-indictments/bad [from Mueller’s perspective] for this to go to trial?” Joe diGenova replies, “Well, because they’re not ready for it. They indicted a case prematurely, against people that they thought would never show up, from Russia. And then one of the Russian companies hired lawyers and sent them to court to say, ‘We’re here and we want to plead not guilty, and we want a lot of discovery on your criminal case against us.'”
DiGenova continues, “And Mr. Mueller’s people objected strenuously, they said, ‘We’re not ready for an arraignment, they’re not here properly.’ And the federal judge said to them, ‘Mr. Mueller, you indicted this case. It’s your case, it’s going to trial, let’s start this process right now, let’s give discovery.'”
In what would possibly be stunned disbelief if he weren’t already aware of the type of witch hunt Mueller is conducting, Carlson restates the situation, asking, “You’re saying that he indicted people without being ready to prove they were guilty?” DiGenova replies, “That is exactly right, he abused the grand jury process as he has from the beginning of this outrageous investigation authorized by Mr. Rosenstein. This is Rosenstein’s monster in spades.”
Carlson observes, “It seems borderline immoral to indict someone unless you can prove he’s guilty of the crimes.” DiGenova declares, “They did it for one reason only. Mueller needed something Russian, like dressing on a salad, to make his investigation look good. So he indicted 13 people and corporations in another country that he thought would never show up and bingo, one of them shows up and says, ‘prove it, mother.'”
Laughing out loud, Carlson says, “That’s an unbelievable story. Imagine if he did that to Americans, like, I don’t know, Flynn.” DiGenova agrees, “He already has, he’s done it to Mr. Flynn.”
