Putin On Serious Situation In Syria – Iraq All Over Again, Warns Of False Flags To Trigger War

putin speech syria serious

Some people, good patriotic Americans are amazingly willing to allow themselves to be carried into a pointless war as long as it is their political party that is leading the charge. What might have started out as a “feel good” response, a way to “teach Assad a lesson,” for what our government was willing to be judge, jury and executioner for without ever having the evidence publicly presented, a chemical attack, may have been self-gratifying for many at the time. It’s dangerous and serious now.

Trump supporters, of which I am one and have been a very strong advocate for most of his policies, do not allow yourselves to be led blindly into this conflict. Demand proof and then decide if it is worth the cost, which will be substantial and without any benefit to the American people. Syria poses no threat to America but it does have resources and geography that make it very attractive for conquest to the same people who wanted Libya and Iraq. If John McCain had been elected in 2008, we would probably have already been through this war, if Lindsey Graham in 2016, undoubtedly.

We cannot allow McCain, Graham, McMasters, Petraeus and their allies to drag us into it now. It was a blessing that Trump was able to hold on for victory. They’ve responded by surrounding the only America-first patriot we’ve had in that office in decades with bought and paid for neocon and Democrat subversives. They want war and are doing everything they can to bring us into one which will quickly expand beyond little Syria versus mighty America.

As a sign that the level of intensity and the stakes are rising, Vladimir Putin addressed the Syria issue in a joint statement with Italian President Sergio Mattarella in Moscow on Tuesday. President Putin said:

President [Mattarella] and I discussed it and I told him this reminds me strongly of the events in 2003, when the US representatives demonstrated at the UN Security Council session the presumed chemical weapons found in Iraq.

The Military campaign was subsequently launched in Iraq and it ended with the devastation of the country, the growth of the terrorist threat and the appearance of the Islamic State [ISIS] on the world stage. [It’s] What is happening now, and again their partners nod in agreement.

Citing our great (comedy) writers, Ilf and Petrov, I want to say: ‘This is boring, ladies.’ We saw all of this (we are fed up). Why is this happening? Everyone wants to establish back communications with Western societies after former US administration, when many EU leaders took anti-Trump position during elections campaign.

Very good strategy for consolidation. Syria and Russia are common enemies; just great. We are ready to patiently wait because we think that the positive trend will eventually come in our relations. It was also (mis)used for internal American matters. Simply, political enemies of current president (Trump) are not sitting idle and if anything happens they will blame him for everything they can go wrong. I am sure in that.

Regarding whether new American strikes are possible or not, we have reports from multiple sources that false flags like this one, and I cannot call it otherwise, are being prepared in other parts of Syria, including the southern suburbs of Damascus. They plan to plant some chemical there and accuse the Syrian government of an attack.

We think that this kind of event should be properly investigated. We are planning to address the corresponding UN structure in the Hague and call on the international community to thoroughly investigate all those reports and take appropriate action based on the results of such a probe.”

Those do not sound like the words of a man who is attempting to hide his own or his ally’s involvement in a chemical weapons attack, they sound like someone trying to inject reason into the events, someone who recognizes the gravity of the situation. Putin does not want war with America, why are we so suddenly desperate for a war with Russia?

Most of us had never heard of HR McMaster prior to his replacing the Obama deep state forced-out General Michael Flynn. We do know that his mentor, General David Petraeus is an establishment CIA insider as their former Director.

Why not, for safety’s sake, just entertain the possibility that President Trump is being led by generals armed with toxic information rather than allow ourselves and the world to join in a journey into global war that has no positive outcome?

Just as the little drowned boy on the beach was used to “justify” the invasion of Europe, the same type of moral outrage seems to be being used to cloud our judgment and to make us malleable for the war-mongers. Donald Trump did not campaign on leading us into war in Syria. I support him whole heartedly on virtually everything else and still do. But not on this. This is a grave mistake. I for one, do not trust the establishment insiders he’s surrounding himself with. This is exactly the type of thing I would expect them to try to pull – or worse.
