Putin defended President Trump from the typical leftist cheap shots, saying he and the people who elected him must be respected. He’s at war with an insurgency that…
Russian President Vladimir Putin addressed the audience at the 14th annual meeting of the Valdai Discussion Club, a gathering of over 130 participants from 33 countries. In characterizing President Trump, Putin was more fair and objective than our own media propagandists and many in his own Republican Party.
Putin took a question from one audience member which was interlaced with anti-Trump rhetoric throughout and seemingly intended to elicit an attack. He asked, “Among all of the major powers, Russia, United States, China, India, Japan or Germany or Great Britain, all most every major power has a competent and a capable leaders [sic] like yourself.”
The questioner continued, “Except the number one power, [the] United States. We happen to have a President, unfortunately, that needs to be managed, although it remains to be seen if he’s manageable or not. And you have been very successful as a senior in terms of presidency.”
He continues his broken English onslaught, saying, “As a senior president, if you’re asked to give advice to Mr. Donald Trump, how to be a good President of make a positive contribution to this transition world, what are you going to say to him.” It’s good that this globalist hack who sees a “transition world,” perhaps to the control of China, if that is where he’s from, or to the globalist oligarchy, thinks President Trump is such a bad guy. He’s doing something right. [VIDEO BELOW]
President Putin doesn’t give Mao Jr. the sound bite he was hoping for. Instead, he immediately puts him in his place, saying, “I am sorry, but I consider the question inappropriate. Mr. Trump was elected by the American people. And for this reason alone he should be treated with respect even if you disagree with a position of his.”
Putin says, “He is being disrespected in the country. This is a deplorable, negative aspect of the American political system. You can argue but you cannot show disrespect. Not just for him personally but for the people who have voted for him. This is the first thing.”
He continues, “Secondly, as I already said, I believe the President of the United States needs no advice because to be elected, even without extensive government experience, you have to have talent and go through this crucible. He did just that and he won. He won fairly.”
Another questioner labels President Trump as unpredictable and Clinton as offering “more clear interaction,” to which Putin responds, “As you know, our people say, ‘You have to make the sign of the cross if you’re seeing things.’ It only seems that way. We do not know how things could have turned out in reality either, do we?”
Putin says, “With regard to the incumbent President, as I said a year ago, and I can repeat this now, we will do our job. And I am saying now, we are working with the President that the American people have elected. As for unpredictability, he is not the only one to blame. It also has to do with the intense opposition in the country.”
“After all,” says Putin, “He is being prevented from carrying out any of his election platforms and plans, in health care, in other spheres. The moment he makes a decision on migrants, a court immediately blocks it. This is happening all the time. “
Putin says, “So to say that he is the only source of this unpredictability – no, this depends on the entire US political system. Nevertheless, we will work with the partners that we have. The United States is a great power, the world’s largest economic and military power.”
It’s worth noting the responses and agreement with the words President Putin is speaking among both those joining him onstage as well among the audience. Not everyone is a globalist hack on an international mission to destroy America. The number who are not, despite what the leftists and neocons would have us believe, does not include the Russians or their President.
