President Donald Trump sat down with Fox News’ Bill O’Reilly for a pre-Super Bowl interview, covering a wide range of topics. O’Reilly uses the smooth rollout of Judge Gorsuch as Supreme Court nominee as a lead in to what some are criticizing as a less-than-smooth implementation of the terrorist travel ban. Had the left not made every effort to create as much chaos surrounding it as possible and the complicit propagandists within the mainstream media not done their part to stir up discontent and portray President Trump, that might not have been the case.
They portrayed the President, working to protect Americans from evildoers, as a heartless oppressor. They’re techniques the left has perfected since Ferguson, with the same goal of creating polarized population that can be exploited for their political purposes. Mr. Trump is aware who the agitators are, that they were paid agitators, just as in Berkeley along with the America-haters at the ACLU, doing the bidding of George Soros and likeminded globalists who contributed the necessary funding.
President Trump disagrees with the O’Reilly claim saying, “I think it was very smooth. You had 109 people out of hundreds of thousands of travelers, and all we did was vet those people very, very carefully.” In response to an assertion by O’Reilly that those implementing the policy didn’t know what it was, President Trump disagrees, saying that General Kelly, the DHS Secretary has a different view, that he was very aware of it.
They discuss the situation with Iran, the threat they pose and repeats just how horrific of a deal the nuclear agreement between Obama and the Iranian theocrats was and remains. He says that while the Iranians clearly don’t respect the United States, he does respect Vladimir Putin and hopes to work with him fighting terrorism. O’Reilly attempted to condition respect for a leader upon their not being a murderer. It’s at that point that President Trump reminds him that there are a lot of killers, asking, “What do you think our country’s so innocent?”
President Trump mentions the Iran war as an example, but it seems as though he’s alluding to a more personal involvement but without having the freedom to do so. Perhaps he’s thinking of Loretta Fuddy. They cover more topic, including the relationship with Mexico and economic issues domestically.
