Libtard Sen Al Franken molested Leeann Tweeden as she slept and forced his tongue into her mouth on a USO tour. He’s sorry he got caught and wants to keep his Senate…
With evidence that he’s a pervert and a predator coming to light, Al Franken has tried to put out the fire by issuing a couple of statements.
The first one was of the acknowledge something happened, diminish it and wait for it to blow over type. He said, “I certainly don’t remember the rehearsal for the skit in the same way, but I send my sincerest apologies to Leeann.”
Of course he wouldn’t remember it the same way. From his perspective it was a chance to do what only money could buy him with others and he’d never be able to do with Leeann Tweeden, kiss her, forcing his tongue down her throat. She remembers it as this disgusting pervert forcing himself on her in a most repulsive way.
The statement that they remember it differently doesn’t mean they aren’t of the same events, the same way. But initial measurements indicated that mild version wasn’t getting the job done. He and his advisers opted for a more robust, put it to rest and move on version of a public statement.
He apologized to everyone who counts on him to be an ally and champion of women, and stated, “I respect women. I don’t respect men who don’t. And the fact that my own actions have given people a good reason to doubt that makes me feel ashamed.” Actually the fact that he’s been busted is what is making him feel remorse, not for what he did but for being stupid enough to take a photo.
He goes on to say, “I don’t know what was in my head when I took that picture, and it doesn’t matter. There’s no excuse. I look at it now and I feel disgusted with myself. It isn’t funny. It’s completely inappropriate. It’s obvious how Leeann would feel violated by that picture. And, what’s more, I can see how millions of other women would feel violated by it.”
Having acknowledged that he did the deed and there was no excuse for it, Franken went on to make excuses. He said, “Coming from the world of comedy, I’ve told and written a lot of jokes that I once thought were funny but later came to realize were just plain offensive.”
“While I don’t remember the rehearsal for the skit as Leeann does, I understand why we need to listen to and believe women’s experiences.” As proof he knows he’ll be able to get off with a slap on his groping wrists, Franken went one step further. He wrote, “I am asking that an ethics investigation be undertaken, and I will gladly cooperate.”
It’s his word against hers on the skit and the photo shows minimal contact, although she was asleep at the time. He figures he can gloss it over and keep his seat, unless another accuser comes forward. Those ethics investigators surely have problems of their own in their closets and are his friends.
We’re the schmucks if we believe this theater is anything more than another one of Franken’s unfunny skits, with the American people getting assaulted, having Franken force something vile upon all of us this time around.
