Numbskull Nancy Pelosi told reporters that Trump is to blame for stagnant wages created by her globalists’ open borders, liberal visas and “social justice” for illegals…
A reporter asked Numbskull Nancy Pelosi if the lowest unemployment in eighteen years of 3.8% was good news. Of course it is and of course Pelosi would never admit it. Instead, she goes into one of her song and dance routines, and inadvertently points the finger of blame for low wages back at herself and her globalist Democrat comrades.
Pelosi, in her customary dishonest and borderline incoherent manner, replied, “Well, as I’ve said, unemployment rate is one indication. The pract, [sic] the fact is, and this has happened before, that people say, ‘Oh, my goodness, that people are saying the unemployment rate is down, why isn’t my purchasing power increasing?'” [[WATCH VIDEO BELOW]]
It sounds like Pelosi’s getting ready to talk down to the crumb-munchers again, who she thinks have the intellectual capacity of a two-year-old. She informs them, “So this isn’t just about the unemployment rate, it’s about wages rising in our country.” That’s something she and her fellow swamp creatures have turned into a virtual impossibility with their importation of cheap foreign labor to compete with American workers.
Pelosi is stating, though she would never admit or even pretend to recognize it, that open border policies of the globalist Democrats and RINO swamp tools are to blame for stagnant wages, despite a tighter employment market. She instead goes into a babbling dissertation about consumer confidence being responsible. The idiot is covering her globalist but and unfortunately for the visual image, failing miserably.
She actually says, “Our economy will never fully reach its possibilities unless we increase the consumer confidence and that can only be increased by a better deal, better jobs, better wages.” So she’s saying that better wages depend on more consumer confidence which is dependent upon better wages.” She’s stupid, alright, but she’s equally dishonest. Mere stupidity alone couldn’t cause someone to say something that outrageously inane.
And of course government, under Democrats, need to lower drug costs – then the economy and that personal buying power she’s such an expert on, will be off to the races. She says, “This is one unusual time and I follow it closely,” nice to know that we’ve got her sharp economic acumen on top of things, “where the unemployment rate is down but the dependence on subsidies, whether it’s food insecurity, housing subsidies and the rest, has not gone down, because of the wage stagnation.”
If those claims of hers were true, which they aren’t, wages are up 3% and consumer confidence is at an 18 year high, she would still only be pointing the finger of responsibility at the open borders crowd that is diluting the American labor pool with both legal and illegal foreign labor imports. Stop bringing in replacement workers and the law of supply and demand will take care of the rest.
It’s not that difficult to comprehend, it’s pretty simple. Even Nancy Pelosi, if she sat down and gave it her full attention, should be able to get a general idea of that more workers equals lower wages and she’s bringing in those workers.
She drivels on to classify the socialism of globalist Democrats as justice, social justice and economic justice, which she says “is a very important value.” Her definition of “social justice,” the “illegals have a right to American jobs” perspective and our “obligation” to allow entry and support for anyone who makes their way to our border is what is preventing the very “economic justice” she claims to want.
You can’t have it both ways, Pelosi, though as a lying Democrat you will most certainly pretend that you can.
