Nancy Pelosi, in calling for Conyers to resign, stated that not only will Congress have to change, but indicated the private sector will too. Power grabs are part of everything Dems
Nancy Pelosi claims that she’s learned more about the allegations against Congressman Conyers since Sunday when she defended him on television as a civil rights icon.
We don’t know where she gets her information but the charges and allegations of the payment of taxpayer hush money and the statements of four witnesses were all in the public sphere well before her appearance, all of it more than enough to justify his resignation.
She may have had enough time to gauge public opinion or to have been influenced by others as to what is best for her or their Democrat Party politically, and decided the undercarriage of a motor coach is where he belongs, but there was already plenty of evidence.
She called the charges against Conyers “serious, disappointing and very credible,” and says that “the brave women who came forward are owed justice. I pray for Congressman Conyers and his family and wish them well, however Congressman Conyers should resign.” [VIDEO BELOW]
She says, “Zero tolerance means consequences for everyone. No matter how great the legacy it’s no license to harass or discriminate.” Pelosi had better get prepared for a much smaller group of Democrats to preside over.
She discusses the plans to incorporate more sexual harassment training into Congress and to expand the “protections” in the private sector as well. Of course the Democrats will make certain that includes restrictions on speech, particularly of a sexual nature. Get ready for the day of government permission slips being issued as “dating permits” and innocent contact being sexual assault. As is often the case, Democrats will use their own misconduct and apply it to everyone else.
She says it’s important that everyone who works at the Capitol understands, “It’s all over. There’s a new day and the courage of the women coming forward is something that is making a big difference.”
She then goes on to take the obligatory swipe at President Trump, blaming his election as playing a role in the attitude of the country. That’s right, Pelosi, the Conyers incident took place in 2015, a year before the election and has been going on for longer than that, and is predominantly being reported among Democrats.
But go ahead and blame President Trump, just like your imposter pretend “president” Obama blamed Bush. You scumbags not only commit the offenses, but are too cowardly and immoral to admit your wrongdoing and accept responsibility for your actions.
Regardless of the circumstances, some things never change.
