Never one to be taken seriously or her words at face value as truth, Senator Dianne Feinstein joined her fellow Hillary Clinton sycophant, Andrea Mitchell, to play the sympathy card in what is likely an attempt to steer public opinion against holding her accountable for her crimes.
Mitchell just happens to know, a curiosity in itself since they “never script these interviews in advance,” that Feinstein took Clinton out to dinner. She shamelessly asked, “How is she doing?”
In a commentary more worthy of an episode of “The View” than a news program, Feinstein replies, “Well, we had a quiet dinner, just the two of us in my hideaway, and I am extraordinarily fond of this woman. And I think it’s fair to say that she’s hurting.” That’s good, she should be. Lots of other people are hurting as the result of her actions. Patriots lost their lives and their families are hurting a lot more than someone who missed an opportunity for supreme power. National security was compromised in the name of personal wealth accumulation. She deserves to hurt, a lot.
Feinstein then starts the propaganda for the redefining of the criminal candidate, saying, “She is brave, she is a real professional.” A professional criminal, a huckster, a con artist you mean, right Dianne? “In the sense of her values, her care, her concern.” Yep, that’s what she means, it’s all about money and power.
Feinstein continues, “As I think all of us know who watched that campaign, it was a very hard campaign for her, the name calling, the email intrusion, the misinterpretation of what she had done with the emails, eleven hours in front of a committee while she was a candidate, and she stood up to it all.” She did so in denying her criminal wrongdoing and was the beneficiary of a double standard of justice, Dianne, remember that?
Clearly it’s the first salvo in what will be a concerted effort to portray Clinton as one who has suffered enough, who should be allowed to escape justice because of who she is and who she knows. There’s that component of what she knows about the others in power, this may be the set up for the inevitable pardon. It’s the only way for the elites, including Hussein Obama, to protect themselves from similar legal problems.
She goes on to blab on about Clinton’s “spine of steel,” and how she’ll come through this fine, saying, “But I think this is really a tough time for a wonderful human being.” A human being that is so wonderful, she deserves a pardon for treason, right Dianne?
