Brian Kilmeade summarized the message from Hussein Obama to Congress over Obamacare as “Re-label it Trumpcare and use this term, and look for it everywhere now, I’m sure it came from the White House, maybe the ‘president’ himself, ‘let’s make America sick again.'”
He notes it was another one of those talking points that the Dems all started using simultaneously, naming Schumer and Pelosi as two of those who have adopted it. He reminds the audience that there is some peril in repealing and replacing Obamacare, that there’s a way to do it and a way not to do it. He cites several Trump tweets on the topic to make his point.
The President-elect tweeted, “Republicans must be careful in that the Dems own the failed Obamacare disaster, with its poor coverage and massive premium increases, like the 116% hike in Arizona. Also deductibles are so high that it is practically useless. Don’t let the Schumer clowns out of this web. Massive increases of Obamacare will take place this year and Dems are to blame for the mess. It will fall of its own weight – be careful!”
They then play a clip of some of the standard theatrics from Democrats, complete with scare tactics and threats, featuring those same two clowns, Schumer and Pelosi. Senate Minority Leader Schumer says, just as Kilmeade had noted, “It would make America sick again and lead to chaos instead of affordable care.”
Schumer goes on to derisively and in a most scripted manner, say, “I see the President-elect was tweeting again this morning. He said Republicans shouldn’t let the ‘Schumer clowns’ out of his web.” It’s a misquote, but Schumer’s both an idiot and dishonest so it’s tough to say which is responsible. He attempts humor, something nobody in his family seems to be very adept at, saying, “Well, I think Republicans should stop clowning around with the people’s medicare, medicaid and health care.”
In another indicator that Amy is writing for Chuck, he made another lame attempt at humor, describing Republicans as the dog that caught the bus. We’re then treated to some enlightenment from short-circuiting Nancy Pelosi, who reminds us that Medicaid is about longterm healthcare and threatens us with grandma moving back into the guest room.”
The Fox and Friends cast would love to have grandma in their guest rooms, another failure on the part of the Democrats with their scare tactics. They’d better stick with melting glaciers and polar bears that forgot or never learned how to swim.
