Obama Shares Some Condescending Parting Hypocrisy With Military

obama lecture

Listening to the drivel falling out of this guy’s mouth one has to wonder if he’s been basking on a Hawaiian or Indonesian beach and playing golf for the entirety of the past eight years of his pretend presidency. His comments would indicate he’s been somewhere else and he has no idea what condition the nation is in.

The clip opens with Obama stating, “At times of division you have shown what it means to pull together.” Sure he’s been the cause of most of that division and angst in the country, but don’t blame him. He’s speaking to the military because they’ve got discipline. He’ll craft is make believe legacy with them as props without having to worry about someone shouting out the truth.

They exercised great restraint and may even have been warned against expressions of jubilation when  Obama said, “So my days as your commander-in-chief are coming to an end, and as I reflect on the challenges we have faced together and on those to come.” It’s possible he could have mistaken all of them for his golfing buddies, he has played a lot of golf and those are the only challenges he’s faced, aside from dismantling the military in the most expedient manner possible.

He continues, “I believe that one of the greatest tasks before our armed forces is to retain the high confidence that the American people rightly place in you.” Seems like he’s moved on from his battle against the oceans and the air being the most critical threats fairy tale. Now the task at hand is much greater, retooling their image after eight years of abuse and neglect under this pathetic community organizer.

The know-nothing philosopher who created ISIS, empowered North Korea, Iran and China and expelled 35 Russian diplomats says, “And so we are called on to remember core principles, that we must never hesitate to act when necessary to defend our nation.” Would hesitation include failing to drop our armaments in the majority of sorties our military men and women conducted against ISIS for last two years?

He adds, “But we must also never rush into war because sending you into harm’s way should be a last and not first resort.” And when sending them in, Obama was always sure that the rules of engagement gave the advantage to our enemy. We had the best munitions and the best fighters, which just wasn’t fair. Obama wanted to make it a “level playing field, a fair fight” no matter how many of our troops he killed and maimed in the process.

The guy who’s importing untold numbers of terrorists into this nation as quickly as possible and releasing those that are being held at Gitmo despite the threat they still pose says, “It should be compelled by the needs of our security and not our politics.” That sounds nice, Obama, name once you actually put security ahead of politics during your tenure in the White House. Just once, if you can.

He takes a mandatory gratuitous shot at Donald Trump’s policies of America first, saying, “We need to remember that we must not give in to the false illusion of isolationism.” It’s a statement that attaches a false illusion of an isolationist to his successor. He bases that statement on the determination that “Because in this dangerous time, oceans alone will not protect us and the world still seeks and needs our leadership as the one indespensable [sic] nation.” Obama’s obviously thinking back to the Reggie Love or Chicago bath house days. On his security hypocrisy, perhaps he could explain how, if oceans alone aren’t enough, how secure wide open, unprotected borders are “in this dangerous time.”

Obama said, “We have to remember that our military has to be prepared for the full spectrum of threats, conventional and unconventional, from 20th century style aggression to 21st century style cyber-threats.” How about 6th century Islamic barbarians brought in by a corrupt pretend ‘president,’ should they be prepared for that threat as well?

He says, in case any of those in the audience were wondering why we don’t fight to win, “and when we do go to war, we have to hold ourselves to high standards and do everything in our power to prevent the loss of innocent life because that’s what we stand for.” Martyrdom is what he, as a jihadist stands for, in this case, the sacrifice of our troops.
