Devin Nunes, the final guest at this year’s CPAC, explained what he’s trying to do for the American people, doing so with no help from the media. He was given an award for his…

Rep Devin Nunes had a sit-down with Matt Schlapp at CPAC, starting things off with comments on the just-breaking news that the Democrat response to the Intelligence Committee’s memo was finally being released, after the poison-pill classified information they deliberately included so that they could cry foul had been removed.

He says, “Democrats are not only trying to cover this [corruption] up but they’re also colluding with parts of the government to help cover this up.” He notes that while there are plenty of nasty comments by Schiff about Chairman Nunes, Trey Gowdy and others, there’s nothing that refutes the Intelligence Committee memo. He reminds the audience that the memo had one purpose only, “and that was to show that FISA abuse had occurred.”

Providing some background on the current mess, Nunes tells the audience that during the period from 2013-2015 Republicans in Congress had been warning the Obama regime about problems with Russia. After presenting his case for why Obama was responsible for Russia’s bold aggression, Nunes discusses his statement in April of 2016 on national television, declaring that “the biggest intelligence failure since 9/11 was our failure to understand Putin’s plans and intentions.”   [[VIDEO BELOW]]

Nunes says that it was after he was chosen to serve on President Trump’s transition team that he began to be accused of being some sort of Russian agent and that has progressed to the point where today the Democrat media hybrid is depicting him as having an office in the Kremlin.

Despite the best efforts and worst intentions of the Democrats and their media, Nunes vows to provide the American people with the truth and the facts.  Nunes and Schlapp discuss the real collusion between the Democrats, the Clinton campaign and the Russians, with him suggesting that “somebody might want to do some research on that.” Maybe AG Sessions is in the audience. Probably not.

Schlapp asks if the investigation needs to include and is making its way towards the Obama White House, whether Obama was being briefed or perhaps directing their actions. Nunes replies that we need to know all of the officials who were involved with this. That’s going to keep a lot of DOJ attorneys busy for a long time. If Sessions has his way, they’ll be serving as the defense counsel for Democrat treason.

Nunes details what happened when he first learned of the unmasking of Americans and the associated abuse of power by the deep state and their Democrat leadership. He says the first thing he did was to brief his Republican colleagues. Nunes says he didn’t talk to Democrats because he knew they’d immediately run to the media spewing disinformation.

He then held a press conference in which he told the media he was going to the White House to brief them, “totally transparent,” says Nunes. After briefing President Trump Nunes briefed the White House press corps as he was making his exit. He notes the irony that he is then accused by Democrats of “not being transparent.”

He asks how it is possible that no one in the mainstream media is covering the questionnaire he sent out to two dozen current and former officials.

In recognition of his battle to expose the corruption and blatant criminality of the Obama regime and their deep state operatives, and playing a pivotal role in the defense of our nation, Nunes is honored with the “Defender of Freedom” Award.  He’s certainly earned it. If we only had a real Attorney General who would take the information Nunes is providing through his efforts, maybe some of the scum who ruled, pilfered and raped for the past eight years would actually see the inside of a prison.

  1. well.
we have to admire Rep Nunes and Admiral Rogers, without their efforts none of this TREASON AND CORRUPTION would have been exposed.
now all we need is a REAL AG TO FOLLOW THROUGH and put them in JAIL.

  2. I think Nunes is right, finding all of the officials who were involved in this will keep the DOJ attorneys and all of the uni-party busy for a long time. Probably until the next generation is ready to vote.

Trump keeps tweeting digs at Sessions, and Sessions is still there, as well as every other 0bama operative. It all seems like managed opposition.

If I brought someone in to do a job, and after a year all I could say is he is not doing his job, if I really wanted the job done, I’d surely replace him.

    • It sure seems like President Trump, for whatever reason, is being far too easy on Sessions. He’s got the option of moving people around as well. Put Sessions into another position, say Energy Secretary, and move Rick Perry into the DOJ to clean things up, temporarily, as a hatchet man if need be. Or something like that – they have ways of dealing with this beyond doing nothing and complaining on Twitter.
