Rep Devin Nunes is done playing games with the criminals at DOJ and FBI who have hijacked our law enforcement agencies. Ultimatums with serious consequences were sent on
Faced with continued obstruction from what can be still be described as the corrupt Obama Department of Justice, despite its being headed up by a misbranded partisan turncoat in AG Jeff Session, House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes is taking the gloves off and throwing them away.
The Department of “Justice” under Sessions, Wray and Rosenstein is no different from those of Lynch and Holder in its corruption at the top, although their focus on some domestic issues has changed. They’re still working for the globalist deep state in defiance of the executive branch and the will of the people who elected their President.
Nunes isn’t going to allow them to get away with it any longer. He sat in time out as the fabricated ethics charges leveled by two Soros front groups took eight months to be disposed of and in that time he’s watched the obstructionists at the DOJ, FBI and State Department operate above the law and beyond the reach of the people, in conjunction with Democrats led by Rep Adam Schiff.
On Thursday Nunes put Sessions, Wray, and Rosenstein, the subversives running DOJ and the FBI, on notice. He’s demanding cooperation or things are going to get very, very ugly in a hurry. The ugliness will begin almost immediately, on January 3rd.
In writing to Deputy Attorney General Rosenstein, Nunes reminded him that his committee has been getting nowhere with four month old document requests which have been stonewalled since August 24th, 2017.
Nunes noted in the letter, “Several weeks ago, DOJ informed the Committee that the basic investigatory documents demanded by the subpoenas, FBI Form FD-302 interview summaries, did not exist. However, shortly before my meeting with you in early December, DOJ subsequently located and produced numerous FD-302s pertaining to the Steele dossier, thereby rendering the initial response disingenuous at best.”
Nunes wrote, “As it turns out, not only did documents exist that were directly responsive to the Committee’s subpoenas, but they involved senior DOJ and FBI officials who were swiftly reassigned when their roles in matters under the Committee’s investigation were brought to light.”
He continued, “Given the content and impact of these supposedly newly-discovered FD-302s, the Committee is no longer able to accept your purported basis for DOJ’s blanket refusal to provide responsive FBI Form FD-1023s–documenting meetings between FBI officials and FBI confidential human sources-or anything less than full and complete compliance with its subpoenas.”
Nunes issued his demand, stating, “As a result of the numerous delays and discrepancies that have hampered the process of subpoena compliance, the Committee no longer credits the representations made by DOJ and/or the FBI regarding these matters. Accordingly, DOJ and the FBI are instructed to promptly produce to the Committee-no later than January 3, 2018-ALL outstanding records identified as responsive to the August 24 subpoenas.”
Nunes provided a listing of documents he’s expecting but included a list of six individuals he wants to be made available to the committee as well, all of them involved in either suspected criminal activity, the cover up of that activity, or both. He wants to talk to all of them in January and wants it scheduled by January 3rd as well.
Those individuals are former DOJ Associate Deputy Attorney General Bruce Ohr; FBI Supervisory Special Agent (SSA) Peter Strzok; FBI Attorney James Baker; FBI Attorney Lisa Page; FBI Attorney Sally Moyer; and FBI Assistant Director for Congressional Affairs Greg Brower.
Nunes also reminded the subversive Rosenstein of documents he’s requested which the DOJ is still withholding, “Details concerning an apparent April 2017 meeting with the media involving DOJ/FBI personnel, including DOJ Attorney Andrew Weissmann (due December 13) and the remaining text messages between SSA Strzok and Ms. Page (due December 15).”
In his own diplomatic way, Nunes went on to label the anti-American Deputy AG and his complicit cabal as the criminal traitors to this nation that they are, writing, “Unfortunately, DOJ/FBI’s intransigence with respect to the August 24 subpoenas is part of a broader pattern of behavior that can no longer be tolerated,” adding, “It seems the DOJ and FBI need to be investigating themselves.”
And locking themselves up in federal prisons, Mr. Chairman.
