The self-serving media attention addicts will have to rely upon their own star quality to attract the camera lenses at this year’s White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner. President Trump will not be in attendance, filling the customary role of “POTUS prop” for photos, socializing, schmoozing and for liberal “nasty women” to show off their fancy dresses.
The President tweeted on Saturday, “I will not be attending the White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner this year. Please wish everyone well and have a great evening!” With the current tensions between the White House and the anti-American media, it was inevitable. Besides the combative relations, some would argue the whole concept is inappropriate.
There can be a huge and blatant conflict of interest with a President participating, submitting to “good-natured” insults and mixing it up with those who are supposed to be the watchdogs protecting the sanctity, independence and fidelity to the people of our government. They were best friends, with the media on a perpetual sleep-over at Hussein’s house, sleeping together as our nation paid a heavy price for their malfeasance. As derelict as the press was in their duties during the Obama years, they’re equally vicious and overly zealous in their sudden awakening to the functioning of a press. It’s a press that operates as globalist propagandists on a mission to destroy the President, in service to their globalist masters intent on driving him from office.
There is absolutely no reason why President Trump should participate in this nonsensical and counterproductive evening of deference to his adversaries. Besides, it’s boring and they’re really not the kind of people President Trump cares to associate with. They’re not good enough to mingle with him. He’s an honest man, not given to engaging in the hypocrisy of pretending he’s having a good time, that he likes any of them or that their jokes are funny.
The show will go on, the expected response of those promoting such a self-aggrandizing, opulent event. The White House Correspondents’ Association, the dinner’s organizers, maintain that the event will still be held on April 29th as planned. They call it a “celebration of the First Amendment and the important role played by an independent news media in a healthy republic.” They are no more independent than Pravda and our republic is in poor health because of it.
Jeff Mason, WHCA president said, “We look forward to shining a spotlight at the dinner on some of the best political journalism of the past year and recognizing the promising students who represent the next generation of our profession.” Given the caliber of individuals populating the press corps these days, the best “journalism” might well be found among those students.
I will not be attending the White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner this year. Please wish everyone well and have a great evening!

Thank you for reading and sharing my work – Facebook is trying to starve us out of existence, having cut literally 98% of our traffic over the last year. Your shares are crucial for our survival, and we thank you. We’ve also created a presence on Gab.ai and MeWe.com, although their reach is presently much smaller, the continued abuse by Facebook of conservative voices leaves us no option. We’re remaining on Facebook for the time being, as we make the transition. Please take a look when you have a chance or if we “suddenly disappear” from Facebook as has happened to many other truth-tellers. They’ll either starve us out or take us down, one way or another, sooner or later.
