Judge Napolitano says the underlings are running DOJ, which means the Obama holdovers, the same criminals exposed by the House Intel Committee are still obstructing justice…
Judge Andrew Napolitano knows Jeff Sessions personally and tells Fox’s Neil Cavuto that he’s surprised he’s still hanging on to the Attorney General position. What was initially more surprising is that Sessions has steadfastly refused to do his job throughout the period President Trump has been in office. Those offenses began with but didn’t stop with his license to do nothing, the recusal card.
Napolitano says he believes Sessions has submitted two letters of resignation to President Trump, both of which were rejected. Maybe it’s time to go for number three, with Napolitano saying that the public criticism by Trump of Sessions could provide that impetus.
He reminds Cavuto that “It was known before he was appointed Attorney General that the FBI and the DOJ were investigating Russian influence. He probably should have said to then-President Elect Trump, ‘I want this job more than anything else but I don’t think I can do it because I think I’m going to be a witness.’ The President would never have appointed him and all of the President’s angst that he feels to this very moment would have gone away.”
Napolitano points out that Sessions is playing right into the dirty hands of Democrats intent on covering up their crimes of the past eight years, saying that the IG investigation into whether or not DOJ regulations were violated “will delay the more serious one which has teeth to it, an FBI-DOJ investigation by eight or nine months to a year. That’s what’s frustrating to the President.” [[VIDEO BELOW]]
That puts it beginning after the midterm elections and potentially the actions of Sessions throwing the election to the very criminals attacking him and manipulating his feckless AG.
Cavuto asks if the President has thought through the “beyond toxic” environment that would be created if Sessions resigns. Napolitano says he thinks he has and that he and his advisers all understand the impact it would have. Napolitano argues that Sessions hands are clean and reduces it to Sessions “not doing what the President wants.”
No, Judge. Sessions is ignoring the crimes of the swamp creatures President Trump was put into power to remove. He’s not doing what the American citizens want him to do either and he is doing the bidding of the criminal Democrats through his failure to act.
Napolitano says that Sessions gives the impression that he doesn’t want to be in the AG spot or doesn’t belong there. That’s an understatement. He says of the Obama holdovers, “I believe the underlings are running the Department of Justice and the AG is making big policy decisions and giving big policy speeches but is not managing the day to day decisions…the type of decisions that all of his predecessors made.”
Asked about the residual damage, Napolitano says that the dust up is creating “another impetus for impeachment.” Apparently making staff changes is a high crime or a misdemeanor. The truth of the matter is that the globalist Democrats, who are intent on destroying this President and this nation have played their hands brilliantly.
They and their media allies created a situation in which they could not or would not be investigated for crimes everybody knows they all committed and are pressing their own false narrative in order to force the President out and doing so while thumbing their noses at the American people and our Constitution.
President Trump needs to relocate Sessions to another department, perhaps Energy, where he can’t do as much damage, and shuffle some players. And indictments need to be handed out immediately against Obama, Clinton, Comey, McCabe and others. Enough of the theatrics.
