Mexico has been an aggressive enemy of America for decades. Now that Trump is finally standing up for the American people against their hostilities, their free ride is in jeopardy…
How dare President Trump use our military to prevent drugs and people from illegally entering our country? That’s almost as bad as him building a border wall in the eyes of the government of the hostile aggressor nation to the south, Mexico.
The Mexican Senate passed a resolution seeking to end what they laughably referred to as cooperation with the United States against drug cartels and on immigration violation issues in response to President Trump’s decision to send the national guard to the border.
What each Mexican Senator is more likely doing is lashing out in an attempt to prevent their own personal profiteering from the drug and human trafficking from being cut off. Their arguments are idiotic, even for Mexicans, the type of hypocritical “do as I say not as I do” nonsense that spews from the likes of Vicente Fox and others.
The resolution passed unanimously and was then sent to the US Congress, the White House and Mexico’s Foreign Relations Officer. It chided President Trump for acting in the interest of the United States, saying, “Despite everything that is at stake in the relationship between our two countries, the way in which President Donald Trump has behaved is, for the Mexican people, unacceptable and intolerable.”
The Mexican Senate accused President Trump of and condemned what they described as “unfounded and offensive expressions about Mexico and Mexicans” and demanding “the treatment that is needed for a relationship between neighboring countries, partners, and allies.” The truth hurts sometimes, especially when you’re doing something wrong. Trump hasn’t used any slurs or lied about anything, so why are they upset with what he’s saying?
It’s true we’re neighboring countries, but Mexico only pretends to be a partner or ally. Friends don’t invade the country of their friends and destroy the lives of their citizens while profiteering on the illegal drug trade. Their words say friend but their actions say hostile enemy.
Elsewhere in the resolution they denounced Trump’s efforts to “militarize the border with Mexico” and labeled positioning troops on the border as offensive. They also called for an end to all cooperation with the U.S. in immigration matters and fighting the cartels until Trump “acts with civility and respect.”
There’s nothing uncivilized or disrespectful in what President Trump has done or said. It’s the fact that he’s respecting Americans and our own sovereignty, something Mexicans haven’t had to deal with in the recent past, that has them riled up.
His actions in our interest threaten their parasitic gravy train, as individual corrupt politicians and as a blood-sucking nation. The fact that there’s no respect to be had in being leeches is not the fault of President Trump but of the Mexicans. If they weren’t disrespecting our sovereignty by invading our country with their squatter citizens and their ruinous drug trade, Trump wouldn’t be acting. Mexico has only themselves to blame.
They should draft a resolution condemning themselves.
