Rep Mark Meadows is too much for propagandist Chuck Todd, who talks over and asks his usual dishonest premised questions but is still unable to distort reality and vilify the
Dishonest media propagandist Chuck Todd invited Freedom Caucus Chairman Mark Meadows in for a discussion, an attempt to portray President Trump in a negative light and to associate Meadows with that portrayal.
As is his normal manner, Todd talked over Meadows when the discussion was going in President Trump’s favor and reset when he was losing the argument.
He began by portraying retiring never-Trump establishment RINO Rep Charlie Dent as the equivalent of Meadows, which he is far from, and some disparaging comments accusing President Trump of demanding loyalty from the GOP. His inability to align himself with President Trump is presented as a sort of stand for integrity by Democrat hack Todd.
Todd asks Meadows if he thinks the FBI is biased against the President, a question that should include the DOJ. He replies in the affirmative, stating, “I think the FBI has engaged in activities that they shouldn’t be engaged in.” He cites a New York Times report that was sourced to current and former agents of DOJ and FBI leaking information about an ongoing investigation.
Meadows asks, “What agent would actually opine or give a reporter information on an ongoing investigation? It’s a cardinal sin and they can’t do that.” Todd dismisses his point completely and attempts to shift the conversation. Meadows insists on making his point, saying, “So I do think there are people at the very top of the FBI that are not carrying out their constitutional duty without bias.” [[VIDEO BELOW]]
Todd did his best to talk over and keep Meadows from making that point but failed. The question that he so desperately needed to get asked was one could have waited or not even been asked at all, one about keeping the “investigation” secret.
It’s simple Chuck, they were breaking the law, didn’t expect Clinton to lose and had no reason to alert anyone to their actions. Are you really so stupid that you couldn’t figure that out on your own? And why did they reopen the Clinton investigation? Because there was a rebellion in the ranks and field offices about the cover up and there was more newly discovered information on the Weiner laptop that had to be buried. It was a pony show for the honest agents to keep them quiet.
Rather than ask if any shred of evidence against President Trump has been discovered in the course of the numerous witch hunts, Todd asks if any falsified fact has been uncovered yet. He soon regrets opening his mouth as Meadows brings up the falsified dossier prepared by the Clinton team in conjunction with the FBI.
Todd says “The dossier is not an FBI product,” an assumption on his part that doesn’t comport with the facts of the case, particularly the involvement of Bruce Ohr and his wife in its preparation and payments by the FBI to Christopher Steele for its production.
Once again Todd talks over Meadows as he lost that point entirely. He then slowly thinks his next question through, attempting to avoid putting himself into a similar situation. It’s a stupid, general and fiction-based question, asking, “If there’s nothing wrong that happened, why is everybody so worried about the investigators?”
There’s plenty wrong that has happened and the investigators are political hacks abusing their offices and power, Chuck, as you well know.
