McConnell stuck to his establishment, Chamber of Commerce purchase agreement, going for DACA and deciding what bone to throw to citizens. Mueller is safe too, his witch hunt…
Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell sat down with Hugh Hewitt on Saturday, with the first topic discussed, after he spent :50 seconds going on about how great and elusive McConnell is, being immigration in the wake of the New York City terror attack.
Hewitt asks, “Is it time to be talking about immigration reform or should we wait awhile?” McConnell replies, “Well, the President’s been talking about improving our vetting for some time and you’ve got to look at a guy like this and say, ‘Hey, how’d he get here in the first place?’ So I do think it’s worth taking a look at.”
You and your fellow US Chamber of Commerce-owned, establishment, open borders cronies partnered with the Democrats and allowed him in, McConnell. You were in the Senate in 1990 and you were one of 38 Republicans who voted for the Diversity Visa Lottery that gave him a free pass into the United States. Just in case your memory has faded along with your leadership ability and patriotism, if it ever existed, that’s how he got here.
The liberal establishment RINO Hewitt asks his ideological counterpart, “Is there a compromise to be had on immigration that will get us DACA, some border security, and some additional vetting from people from suspect countries?” It’s a list of weak, “give the rabble something to keep them quiet” concessions that he is going to try to get away with as a cover for the continued invasion.
McConnell says,” Yeah, I think so, yeah, uh, the Democrats desperately want DACA, Republicans are not necessarily opposed to that. The President has set it up in such a way that we have an incentive to act here because he’s given us six months to come up with a proposal.”
Clearly signaling that he’s going to ram DACA down our throats and recognizes he’s going to have to push less forcefully if he throws the citizens a bone, McConnell says, “I think that there ought to be something related to making the American legal immigration system better achieved along with DACA.”
In normal English that means if he’s going to give the Democrats and illegals a ticket to take over the country, he’ll have to make it look like the American citizens are getting something out of the deal too. He has to trick us and he needs some type of shiny object.
He says, “It could be border security, it could be ending chain migration, it could be the diversity quotas, but something that ‘tangibly improves’ the legal immigration system in this country, I think, ought to be attached to DACA.
When McConnell says border security he doesn’t mean control and he certainly doesn’t mean a wall. He’s talking about throwing a few more agents down there, who may later be converted to diaper changers under a future Democrat. Anything as long as it isn’t effective and is easily reversible will be alright with him.
McConnell also wants to let Mueller continue on his witch hunt, saying he doesn’t “hear much pressure to pass anything, there’s been no indication that the President or the White House are not cooperating with the special counsel. I think the view up here is let him do his job.” That’s the same words Rep Trey Gowdy used last Sunday on Fox News Sunday. Is there a little collusion going on inside Congress, gentlemen?
It’s no surprise that McConnell will be recommending the witch hunt continue in the interest of his establishment masters. How long should it continue, McConnell? Is 2020 when you’re planning to draft a “more electable” candidate long enough for you?
