McCain Selling New Syria War – Repeat Of $41 Million 5 Man Syrian Fighting Force Fiasco

The song remains the same, it’s the same tune that John McCain, backed up by the vocal stylings of Lindsey Graham, has been singing for years.  Monger McCain repeated a familiar refrain from the BRDO Castle in Slovenia, as he often somehow finds his way to Europe or the Caucasus doorstep of Russia to make his foreign policy statements.

McCain is calling for war, though none has been declared, with Syria and probably Russia, stating, “I think we need further air operations to stop this kind of slaughter.” Is he aware of a new atrocity or is he still running on the energy of the one last week? He breaks into a chorus of the worn-out mantra, his favorite since the Iraq war was won before it was lost again.

With all of the mental acumen of his colleague Dianne Feinstein attacking the Second Amendment, McCain says, “I would argue for a no-fly zone and arming and training the Free Syrian Army [al-Qaeda and ISIS].”  If that argument sounds familiar, it’s because McCain has sold us this bill of goods before and he really took us to the cleaners. We paid $41 million dollars for four or five trained Syrian fighters it produced, according to General Lloyd Austin’s Senate testimony. That puts them into Steve Austin, six million dollar man territory, minus the bionic eyes, speed, strength, cool sound effects and Farrah Fawcett for company.

The “Free Syrian Army” training money pit, which might be Syrian but is anything but free, was an insane waste of taxpayer dollars but that isn’t stopping McCain and Graham from championing the wasting of a whole lot more. The effort in Syria was described aptly, the product of aimless meandering through the myriad siphonings of the American treasury, in ZeroHedge in September of 2015.

They wrote, “Effectively, the newest group of US-trained Syrian fighters was on their way to fight ISIS, another group of US-trained Syrian fighters, when their leaders were captured by al-Nusra, an offshoot of al-Qaeda, whose founder and allies received US support during the Soviet-Afghan war.” This is what Johnny Boy and Sweet Little Lindsey want to sign us up for another round of.

“At the same time,” says McCain, “we must continue to take Mosul and Raqqa and stop this flow that’s coming out of Raqqa and being sent to Europe and to the United States to commit acts of crime uh, of terror.” Quick question for you McCain, if we know they’re being sent from Syria to commit acts of terror and you’re “Mr. Reach Across the Aisle,” why hasn’t the Senate acted in concert with the House to either pass a law to put a stop to it or remove the judges who have inserted themselves into the role of obstructionists of the terrorist importation ban, President Trump’s executive order? That doesn’t cost any money and it saves lives – though on both counts it is true you may perceive those characteristics as negatives.

He then goes on to depict the cruise missile strike as a “first step,” and indicated that President Trump would have the support of “the American people,” for the kind of escalation McCain wants. He then goes on to do his extremely realistic Democrat impersonation, again sounding like Feinstein, beating up on Putin some more about false Russia election meddling and using accusations against him in France as some sort of phantom proof or justification.

He attempts to vilify Putin as a KGB Colonel who “wants to restore the Russian empire.” If Putin wants to put Russia first and Make Russia Great Again, why is that a bad thing for Russians, Johnny? That’s what a Russian leader should want to do. Not every nation’s government is populated with turncoats such as America is, self-serving opportunists such as yourself.

  2. McCain is an idiot and believes everyone really listens to his babbling. I think President Trump is smarter than that and will not listen to these two wannabe war lords. When is McCain’s time in office finally going to be stopped?

I only thought McStain was Senile, now I know he is. He and Linseed need to officially change their party affiliation to demonrat so they can join all the nut job senile groups.

  5. Could it be that McCain is a former Russian spy that wants back pay that he thinks Russia owes him or could it be he bump his head in an aircraft crash.
