McCain never misses a chance to deride President Trump or to try to start a war with Russia. He combined both favored pastimes into a statement against Trump’s comments that…
RINO John McCain played a supporting role in the Russia, Russia, Russia by always portraying them as a predatory aggressor engaged in a major offensive against our election system. He did so despite little, if any, actual physical evidence to back up his claims, going so far as to personally deliver the false Clinton-manufactured hit piece Fusion GPS dossier to James Comey.
McCain remained consistent to his neocon globalism Saturday when he again attacked President Trump for engaging in a civil dialogue with Russian President Vladimir Putin. McCain ranted via written statement, saying, “President Trump today stated that he believed Vladimir Putin is being sincere when he denies Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election and reiterated that he hopes to cooperate with Russia in Syria.”
He continued, “There’s nothing ‘America First’ about taking the word of a KGB colonel over that of the American intelligence community. There’s no ‘principled realism’ in cooperating with Russia to prop up the murderous Assad regime, which remains the greatest obstacle to a political solution that would bring an end to the bloodshed in Syria. Vladimir Putin does not have America’s interests at heart. To believe otherwise is not only naive but also places our national security at risk.”
There’s nothing America first about John McCain, from his support for open borders and amnesty to the Obama Iran deal to leaving us all stuck with Obamacare tool his being a tool of the Military Industrial Complex looking for war anywhere, all the time.
While it might help to spice up his narrative to dismiss Putin as a KGB Colonel, he’s now the President of Russia. McCain wouldn’t want folks to still be referring to him as that reckless idiot who dropped a bomb on his own aircraft carrier. People often progress to new positions as time goes on, as McCain did from “just build the danged fence” in 2010 to the open borders amnesty of the 2013 gang of eight.
President Trump was spot on when comparing the credibility of Putin to the corrupt criminals who issued the January 2017 “intelligence assessment.” He told reporters aboard Air Force One, “I mean, give me a break, they are political hacks. So you look at it, I mean, you have Brennan, you have Clapper and you have Comey. Comey is proven now to be a liar and he is proven now to be a leaker. So you look at that and you have President Putin very strongly, vehemently says he had nothing to do with them.”
The issue, in as much as President Trump pressing Putin about it, seems to be done. Trump said, “He said he didn’t meddle. He said he didn’t meddle. I asked him again. You can only ask so many times. Every time he sees me, he says, ‘I didn’t do that,’ And I believe, I really believe, that when he tells me that, he means it.” He added, “I think he is very insulted by it.”
