Dr. Ben Carson received a backhanded, completely unintentional acknowledgment of a job well done from communist Democrat Maxine Waters, who is upset that he’s not giving away enough of other people’s tax dollars to provide for the lazy who have their butts cemented to a particular neighborhood.
They are unwilling to relocate to go to work and that will remain the case as long as HUD provides them with a home that someone else is paying for, which is precisely what she’s demanding more of. They grew up in this Democrat neighborhood, they get free stuff and have plenty of time on their hands. It’s the new American dream.
Waters read the statement someone else surely wrote for her, saying, “In the face of the immense housing needs in our country, President Trump chose Dr. Ben Carson to serve as the head of the Department of Housing and Urban Development.”
The chastising for being financially responsible and constitutionally biased begins immediately with her saying, “The Secretary of HUD is supposed to be at the forefront of our efforts to create strong communities, expand access to safe, decent and affordable housing, and enforce ‘fair housing rights,’ the right to have other people take care of you.
What she’s talking about is wealth redistribution, something that is not in the Constitution and therefore not constitutional, yet our government engages in it constantly as a part of its daily functions. HUD’s mission statement includes the creation of strong, sustainable, inclusive communities and quality affordable homes for all.
If these communities are strong and sustainable, why do they need taxpayer subsidies to remain functioning? Shouldn’t they “need” less money every year as those quality communities come online? And none of the folks I know, not living in one of those glorious Democrat hell holes known as a major city, have gotten their free quality home yet? Do you have an 800 number to call to have construction scheduled, Waters, or is that just a Democrat ghetto type of benefit for the privileged?
Waters continued her moronic statement, saying, “Housing is the foundation on which our entire society is built. It is a platform for economic mobility and well-being. It is a crucial part of our national economy. It is a necessary human right.” Actually shelter is a basic need, not a basic human right, although the real “right” the Democrats are attempting to create and are imposing is free access to other people’s money and stuff.
Obviously not pleased with Dr. Carson’s more restrictive posture from the free-spending corruption of the Democrat Castro who preceded him, Waters says, “We need strong leadership and a bold vision for HUD in order to expand access to affordable housing in this country.” Expanding access means throwing more money in the direction of those laying on the couch with their hands out watching Montel reruns.
She ends with a glowing endorsement of Dr. Ben Carson, in the form of criticizing him as unqualified for the position. She says, “Unfortunately, I have seen nothing to indicate that Secretary Carson is up to the challenge.”
Good Job, Dr. Ben. If you’ve gotten her to denounce you along with President Trump then you must be making progress. The American people thank you for all of your hard work.
