Levin – Trump Campaigned On Border Wall, Debt – Tossed To Please Chuck and Nancy

Mark Levin recognizes that President Trump has pleasantly surprised him in many respects because he’s done a lot of conservative things.”

Levin says, “Well, ladies and gentlemen, now he’s doing a lot of liberal things. He just bought off on a deal with Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi. I haven’t seen Chuck Schumer this happy since he stopped being constipated.”

“And they are just thrilled,” says Levin. “They got the President to agree to a three month continuing resolution by tying the Harvey natural disaster aid to a debt ceiling increase and so forth. This has been their tactic all along.”

“And now, come the election cycle year, for a third of the Senate and all of the House of Representatives, now, the President who said he would shut down the government in order to get the wall, completely backtracked, completely backtracked.”

“Not only isn’t he shutting down the government,” notes Levin, “the debt is completely out of control. And they’re doing absolutely nothing about it but adding to it. Ivanka Trump is running around now trying to convince Republicans on the tax credit for family leave, another bloated, massive entitlement program.”

Levin says, “It’s incredible to me. Is there no moral responsibility for what’s going on with our government? Now I hear these fools go on and on about ‘Oh, look at this, Texas, they’re going to want money because of Harvey and Florida, conservative, they’re going to want money because of Irma.”

He says, “I’m thinking to myself, do they really understand what conservative  and progressive mean? We conservatives aren’t anarchists. We’re not the ones running around with black masks and helmets and outfits, burning down buildings and the rest of it. We believe in a constitutional government.”

“There’s a huge difference from a massive redistribution of wealth, massive redistribution of wealth, endless departments and agencies, a bloated bureaucracy, massive federal pensions and on and on and on. A difference between that and truly helping American citizens who have paid taxes year after year after year who need help.”

Levin takes notice of the fact that President Trump “didn’t even talk about the wall. He’s going to increase the debt limit without getting a damn thing. All the leverage thrown out the window; all the leverage thrown out the window. He advises, “follow the Constitution, Mr. President.”

He says, “The fact that Paul Ryan has no guts and no spine, has turned out to be a total political chameleon, the fact that Mitch McConnell has never been a conservative but has deceived the constituency and the citizenship of Kentucky, no surprise to me.”

“But Mr. President,” Levin admonishes, “you campaigned on this; just as you campaigned on the wall. And you’re throwing it out the window, throwing it out the window.”

  1. I still believe that the only way the DEMS would pass the relief funds is so they could add more of their projects to it along with the help of the RINO Senators which I am stuck with 2 of the worse, McCoward and Flakey Flake. They always have added to relief bills because they are the lowest in humanity.

I gave Trump a break on this because I believe he was sure this is what would happen. Usually I will disagree with something like this and if I am wrong then everyone else is right.

The Wall? Who is to blame for that? Not Pres. Trump but the RINO losers who would not get their backing from their owners, like Soros, like the rest of the Globalists. This is where the people that vote for Paul Ryan, McConnell, McCoward, Flake and the rest of them fail themselves and their country.

  2. I disagree with Levin which I have before. I believe the only reason President Trump did this was to get the Harvey natural disaster aid to be passed without more junk added to it so he decided on 3 months. 8 years of obama and Paul Ryan and the RINOS as well as the RINO Senate caved every time the ‘o’ wanted something. I am not pleased with Mark Levin wanting to have a Con-Con which he has been pushing for a few years which would destroy our Constitution. And by the way Levin should jump on RINO Congress for not standing with our President.

    • He’s jumped them a lot, SAnnSM, and I’ve had my disagreements with Levin as well, we all disagree on something or many things. But I don’t believe that the aid was the reason, I think that is an excuse – Democrats would be fools to be exposed as holding the aid up for political gain, they wouldn’t do it. They are many things, they are not stupid politicians. Trump got nothing in return and didn’t even mention the wall, now over a year in the making and nowhere close to breaking ground. I fear it is not the priority we were told it was as justice for Clinton and the rest of the crooks obviously is not either. I may be proven wrong, that will be great. But I can’t pretend that there is some grand design any longer when there is nothing to indicate it for eight months now and counting. We’re going to be in the usual mess, them racing to get home for Christmas and sticking us with the December lumps of coal.

  3. well.
Mark is generally right on the Mark, pardon the pun.
but i didn’t like this so called deal from the beginning, and ANYTHING, that pleases Pelosi or Schirmer has GOT TO BE BAD FOR THE NATION AND WE THE PEOPLE.

I am starting to see this situation a bit differently. Am thinking DJT is loosening the reins a tad but lookout when he pulls back. He always has a strategic Plan B. This unexpected cross over is only Plan A. Hope I’m right.
