John Kerry declares, in an effort to rewrite history and create a legacy of his own, “So we are on the right path, both diplomatically and militarily and we need to stay on that course. And I guarantee you that over the period of this next year, and into the future, Daesh [ISIS] is going to be thoroughly defeated.”
What he doesn’t state is why, if we’re on the right path and he’s willing to guarantee victory, a word this regime never uses, is it going to take a year and “into the future” to defeat them. If Kerry and Obama knew what they were doing and were really capable of fighting their sometimes adversary, most times ally, both militarily and diplomatically, wouldn’t they be able to work something out a little quicker?
Since ISIS is the regime’s ally in Syria and elsewhere, why can’t they just say something along the lines of “Okay boys, stop with the terrorism now,” a diplomatic overture, followed by “and we won’t bomb you straight to Hell,” a military one? It seems simple enough. They’ve already got each other’s cell phone numbers and it would give some substance to what is otherwise an empty Kerry guarantee.
He pats his own and Obama’s back for the Iran deal, labeling it as “the power of diplomacy.” Those not attempting to distort reality might accurately interpret that as “the BS of Kerry and Obama,” their amazing ability “to address major international problems short of war.”
The jury’s still out on that “short of war” component, and since now they’ve got the money and the means where before the “great deal” they didn’t, he’s probably being a bit more generous with the self-accolades than he should.
Kerry decrees, “The joint comprehensive plan of action has made the world and our allies safer. Kerry’s talking about his and Obama’s allies, in particular Iran and Hamas. They’re much safer and better equipped now that they’re “committed to peace.”
He claims he included Israel in those security evaluations. They’ve got an entirely different take on it but this is the same guy who opted to abstain on the UN resolution. There’s no surprise that he would have a diametrically opposed view of Israel’s best interest.
Kerry can’t leave without taking a shot at the incoming administration, something for them to remember in the coming weeks and months as they’re taking testimony from employees ordered to commit treason and other criminal acts under Obama – Kerry – Clinton in the State Department.
The subversive who has labeled the climate hoax as the greatest threat to the security of the world told those in attendance, “I think everybody here knows that nobody can predict what choices this [Trump] administration is going to make. I don’t know and I don’t think you know. I think the question a lot of people ask is ‘Do they know?’ And we’re going to have to wait and see.”
Kerry might want to wait and see how much of his obstruction and destruction of evidence on behalf of the crimes of Hillary Clinton and his own graft and corruption are discovered or more accurately, how many they are willing to pursue. That might be was he’s getting at.
