Rep Jim Jordan asks the questions Rod Rosenstein and the rest of the corrupt officials at DOJ and the FBI don’t want to answer in House Judiciary Committee Hearings. They’ve
Rep Jim Jordan (R-OH) has been calling, along with many of his colleagues in the House, for a special counsel to deal with the corruption in the DOJ and FBI for months. On Wednesday he had an opportunity to ask a top DOJ official if it was going to happen.
Rod Rosenstein effectively said “No” in response to Rep Jordan’s questions. They’ll continue to police themselves and he’ll decide when his crony, Robert Mueller, is called off of the witch hunt that Rosenstein set him loose on.
Despite the overwhelming conflicts of interest and total lack of any evidence of Russia collusion by the Trump team, and mountains of evidence piling up of the DOJ and FBI serving as a political arm of the Clinton campaign and Obama regime, Rosenstein is going to continue to allow the fraud, the expense, and the personal injury to citizens who serve this nation to take place.
Jordan opened his time with a question that he wants answered but is apparently, from having seen the events that transpired earlier in the hearing, and the DOJ ignoring the same questions when submitted by letter, aware will not be answered by Rosenstein. “Did the FBI pay Christopher Steele and was the dossier the basis for securing warrants at the FISA court to spy on Americans associated with the Trump campaign?”
Jordan says, “Yesterday I was convinced that the answer to those questions was probably “Yes,” but today I’m even more convinced the answer is “yes” based upon the text messages we got to read early this morning.” He goes on to recap the offenses believed to have been committed by Peter Strzok and read a few of his anti-Trump biased text messages.
He focuses in on a particular Strzok text messages where he says, “We can’t take the risk, we have to do something about it,” referring to the people of the United States possibly electing Donald Trump as their President. He also notes another comment by Strzok which stated, “I can protect our country at many levels,” which sounds like he’s willing to do what it takes, legal or otherwise, to make certain Trump isn’t elected.
Jordan challenges Rosenstein, saying, “It seems to me you’ve got two things you can do. You’re the guy in charge. You’re the guy that picked Mueller. You’re the guy who wrote the memo saying why he needed to fire Comey. You’re the guy in charge. You could disband the Mueller Special Prosecutor and you can do what we’ve all called for, appoint a second special counsel to look into this, to look into Peter Strzok, Bruce Ohr, everything else we’ve learned in the last several weeks.”
That’s not going to happen because, while Rosenstein was all too willing to unleash a rabid mongrel on his cabal’s political adversary, President Trump, the last thing he wants is for the same thing to happen to him and his fellow conspirators at the DOJ, FBI.
He points to their own internal investigation through the office of the Inspector General, as the route that will be taken in correcting or appearing to take interest in the problems the nation recognizes and Rep Jordan points out have completely eroded any confidence the nation has in the Departments Rosenstein oversees. The cover up, with the possible exception of action following the IG report, and the witch hunt will continue. Jordan and Congress have Mr. Rosenstein’s permission to pound sand.
