Sen Ron Johnson, Senate Homeland Security Committee Chairman, reveals that the FBI-DOJ “secret society” that plotted to overthrow President Trump held their meetings off-site
Chairman of the Senate Homeland Security Committee, Ron Johnson (R-WI), dropped a bombshell development in a televised interview Fox News channel.
Johnson was the recipient of the latest tranche of Strzok-Page text messages and the first to be informed that there had been an “unforeseen configuration problem” and five months of incriminating text messages between the two during the peak of their criminal activity were somehow “missing.”
Those text messages that were provided to Johnson included conversations between Strzok and Page about the existence of a secret society.
Johnson exposed just how potentially serious that development may be in his remarks. He said, “What this is all about is further evidence of corruption, more than bias, but corruption at the highest levels of the FBI.”
Johnson continued, “And that secret society, we have an informant that’s talking about a group. They were holding secret meetings off-site. There is so much smoke here, there is so much suspicion.”
Bret Baier interrupts to clarify, “A secret society; secret meetings off-site of the Justice Department.” Senator Johnson replies, “Correct.” Baier continues, “And you have an informant saying that.” “Yes,” says Johnson. Baier asks, “Is there anything more about that?”
Johnson replies, ‘No, we have to dig into it. This is not a distraction. Again, this is bias, potential corruption at the highest levels of the FBI, that is now investigating and now there’s, and by the way, Robert Mueller used to run the FBI. He is in no position to do an investigation over this kind of misconduct.”
Johnson concludes, “So, I think at this point in time, we probably should be looking at a special counsel to undertake this investigation but Congress is going to have to continue to dig.”
Clearly the level of criminality was substantial enough to concern the participants that plotting at the FBI and DOJ was too dangerous, the reason they moved their meetings off-site. They also ran the risk of someone not involved in their private efforts to overthrow our President becoming suspicious of the gatherings on-site and investigating.
