The Republican Study Committee called on Tuesday for a vote on their own version of a border security bill, one that, unlike a likely Senate version, will actually address border security concerns, including real funding for the border wall.

The Senate product will likely simply be a squatter amnesty combined with open borders and non-enforcement labeled as security. The RSC announced that they would reject such a proposal from their Senate counterparts.

The RSC issued a statement, saying, “The Securing America’s Future Act is the framework to strengthen border security, increase interior enforcement and resolve the DACA situation. We believe an eventual stand alone floor vote is essential. We oppose any process for a DACA solution that favors a backroom deal with Democrats over regular order in the House.”

The RSC comprises more than half of the GOP Representatives and is the largest Republican group. Most of its members are conservatives or moderately conservative. The bill they endorsed is one offered by House Judiciary Committee Chairman Bob Goodlatte (R-VA), Raul Labrador (R-ID), and others that gives globalist Democrats the amnesty for their DACA squatters that they supposedly are so desperate to have.

In return the American citizens receive improved border security, including funding for the border wall, an end to chain migration, mandatory worker verification, sanctuary city restrictions, reduced asylum thresholds and reducing legal immigration by 25%. The group made their announcement one day after Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell set the stage for another capitulation to Democrats by promising a week of debate and a vote no later than February 8th in exchange for an end to the government shutdown.

The House members have seen McConnell in action before. They are well aware that his first inclination is to give Democrats whatever they want, that he doesn’t seem comfortable with governing or the idea of winning.

McConnell agreed to bring up a neutral bill and to allow amendments of all kinds to be offered.  Something truly awful could be the result of his latest bit of “shrewd deal-making.” Open borders RINOs Jeff Flake (R-AZ) and Lindsey Graham (R-SC) have joined Dick “Sh**hole” Durbin in attempting to jam the amnesty through earlier this month. They’re certainly going to make it part of the Senate product.

Conservatives in the House have warned their leadership against brining up the Flake-Durbin bill, instead demanding the America first Goodlatte bill, that incorporates the Trump agenda into law, be considered. The RSC lawmakers issued a statement on Tuesday, saying, “We oppose any process for a DACA solution that favors a backroom deal with Democrats over regular order in the House.”

Democrats and RINOs, particularly those in the Senate, are vile, anti-American creatures. They cannot be treated as if they are worthy of trust or have the interests of this nation and its people at heart. They do not; they are the enemy. There’s no reason to pretend that they aren’t.

  1. The old managed opposition rules again. The eventual outcome is always “we came up with a bill we could all agree upon”, and “we needed bipartisan support to get anything done, and this is a win for all of us”.

If they push this crap sandwich disguised as a burger through, Trump had better veto it. I’m sure that if 1 illegal is let through, they will all get through. Either by the uni-party, or by judges claiming equal treatment.

I wonder if the swamp creatures know that we don’t want amnesty for DACA or anyone else. We are tired of supporting them and now they want their families here too. Why not wait in line like everybody else that wants citizenship? We need to deport ALL OF THEM, including the refugees that Obama brought in to be his Muslim army when Clinton won. Why don’t we find an island oar hunk of land to give them, sort of like our Native Americans got from our government. It should be far, far away and totally independent of the US.

  3. Thank you for a clear explanation of what Mitch is trying to do in concert with the Dems. I’m really glad the House is trying to circumvent their disastrous plan.
