Sen Orrin Hatch did what RINO Senators always do when faced with agitated Democrats, he surrendered and apologized. In a moment of weakness Hatch committed…
Even open borders establishment tools like Senator Orrin Hatch sometimes find themselves at a loss for words to explain the idiocy and duplicity of their Democrat counterparts and the morons that voted for them.
In a speech at the American Enterprise Institute on Thursday, the Utah Senator told his audience the truth about Obamacare, those who shoved it down the American people’s throats like the bad medicine it is, and those who elected such immoral vermin to represent them in Congress.
In his remarks, Senator Hatch said, “We also, finally, did away with the individual mandate, a tax that was established under that wonderful bill called Obamacare.” As silence filled the air where there was supposed to be applause, laughter or some type of reaction, Hatch said, “Now, if you didn’t catch on, I was being very sarcastic.”
He went on to clarify further, saying, “It was the stupidest, dumb ass bill that I’ve ever seen. Now some of you may have loved it. If you do, you are one of the stupidest, dumb ass people I’ve ever met. And there are a lot of them up on Capitol Hill from time to time.”
Of course Sen Hatch’s truthful, honest words couldn’t be allowed to stand, the stupid dumb ass Democrats were predictably, going nuts, or more correctly, they were more intensely demonstrating that they already were nuts. [[VIDEO BELOW]]
Hatch came out later, on Friday, with a retraction and apology. That’s the kind of political backbone we’ve come to expect from the Senator. He issued a statement saying, “Yesterday, I made a poorly worded joke about Obamacare supporters — a joke that was not reflective of my actual feelings towards my friends on the other side.” Was he upset that he left out “filthy communists?”
He continued, “Throughout my term of service, I have always recognized the importance of civility, particularly in engaging with those of different political perspectives. While I occasionally slip up, I believe that my legislative record reflects my commitment to bipartisanship and civility much more than my flippant, off-the-cuff [and honest] remark.”
Way to show character, Hatch. You RINOs “never disappoint,” sarcasm back at ya.
