gohmert ryan gowdy leadership republican swamp

Harris Faulkner is not a stupid woman so what’s the point of her false naiveté shtick, pretending to be shocked and asking “is that fair” when Rep Louie Gohmert accurately refers to the group orchestrating the Mueller witch hunt as a cartel? Is it for the same reason that many Fox hosts insist on interrupting and talking over their guests just as they’re making the point they were leading up to?   [[WATCH VIDEO BELOW]]

Attacking the rogue nature of the DOJ COUP under Mueller and Rosenstein, with the blessing of Ryan and McConnell, Gohmert says, “As long as we have a special counsel who will not even confess as to his limits, then this is going to continue to be a problem. As long as we have Republicans who are in leadership positions who think it’s okay to have Orwellian spies spy on presidential campaigns of one party, then we have bigger problems than just the briefing.”

He then moves to that topic specifically, and the charade that is being presented as a genuine effort to provide information. It’s obstruction and obfuscation, which Gohmert points out. He says, “I don’t know what was said in the previous briefing, I don’t know what was in the documents, but my understanding is the people that showed up filibustered for most of the hour, talking, and left no time to review the documents.”

Gohmert continues, “So, it wasn’t like the people who went didn’t want to review the documents, they just came in and made sure they didn’t have time to review the documents and will come back later. This is outrageous, you don’t even have to have FBI officials or DOJ officials there to do the briefing, just provide the dadgum documents and let smart people here look at them.”

“That is a real problem,” says Gohmert, “and the more they obfuscate and delay the more it tells any sensible person there are massive problems with this whole Russia investigation, with Mueller, with Rosenstein, with Weissmann, with Comey, and that’s why we need a second special counsel.”

As if she was born yesterday, Faulkner asks Gohmert why he used such “fierce language,” calling Mueller’s band of Democrat operatives a cartel, asking, “Is that fair?” Is she really that stupid? Gohmert answers her question by pointing out the efforts with past special counsels to avoid any appearance of partisanship or bias and how in this instance, a group of political operatives was selected because of their animus against the President.

Faulkner defends the selection of a Democrat hit squad, saying, “The pushback has been that he went for the people that he thought could do the job.” That’s true, if one frames the job as being the removal of President Trump from office.

Gohmert makes her eat those words, telling her, “Actually it’s worse than that. He went for people like Weissmann and others who have worked with him on the Russia investigation when they were trying to illegally get uranium. So it sounds like to me they’ve got a little bit of a CYA situation here, not only going after Republicans like Trump but also trying to diminish anybody that could come in and look at their malfeasance in the original Russia investigation.”

Faulkner then attempts to be some kind of Dr. Phil style TV therapist or psychologist, ignoring the gravity of his comments and focusing on the level of his passion and anger. As she’s patting Gohmert on the head she shows her ignorance, saying, “You can’t force them to give up something, apparently, that they don’t want to give up at the DOJ.”

Gohmert disagrees, saying they actually can, but it requires “enough gumption” on the part of House members. They could force them out of office through impeachment of the DOJ officials, but that gets back to the leadership deficiency that has Gohmert fired up. As he’s trying to make his point she talks over him, saying, “These are your fellow Republicans, what do you say to them?” if you’d stop talking long enough, Harris, he’s trying to tell you.

Does she really not have a clue about the deep state or the fact that RINOs who are no different from the Democrats in their service to the establishment swamp masters, guys like Ryan and Gowdy, who support and are making excuses for illegal spying on President Trump’s campaign?

How could she have the job that she does and be as ignorant as she professes to be? Maybe if she weren’t always trying to think of what she was going to say before a guest could finish their point and listened for a change she’d learn something.

You NAILED IT. I stopped watching both of her shows a year ago. Gomert was spelling out FACTS many of us have known for some time and yet this anchor is ‘surprised’ and saying ‘Republicans are your party” was lame and just silly. We know too many are RINOS including Ryan and McConnell.

  2. The only FOX I watch is Dobbs because he actually pushes back on the establishment. FOX is a GOP establishment shill, and reinforces the fact that they are with the globalists.

Before the election I firmly believed that the uni-party will impeach Trump and place their man Pence in the WH. I don’t think it is even that Trump is not with them, he is just not part of the “club”.

Perhaps after the election, they will say governing like this is not working, and trigger their plan.

  3. yeah.
that used to PISS ME OFF WHEN BILL O’REILLY DID THAT.
    i DON’T LIKE RUDE PEOPLE.
and rep Gohmert is a GOOD MAN, i bet if he was SPEAKER OF THE HOUSE THINGS WOULD GET DONE RIGHT.
