Gloria Allred clearly, through her actions is proving beyond a doubt that if she isn’t the one who forged Roy Moore’s signature on the yearbook she knows somebody did and…
MSNBC’s Katy Tur questions ambulance chasing attorney Gloria Allred about her client’s contention that the signature on her yearbook is that of US Senate candidate Judge Roy Moore. She begins by asking, “How did you in fact authenticate that it was Roy Moore’s signature?”
Allred replies, “Well, we’re not going to comment on that except to say that we have offered to have an independent examine the yearbook and that signature and the remainder of his writing in addition to his signature in the event that the Senate Select Committee on ethics or the Senate Judiciary Committee agrees to have the hearing that we requested.”
She wants oaths to be administered and effectively Judge Moore put on trial in one of these dog and pony shows that do nothing but produce sound bites and create political theater. There is no requirement that the Senate approve a candidate in advance of his being seated, what Allred is proposing as a condition of presenting her shaky evidence for validation is unconstitutional.
Tur asks Allred if her client remembers Moore signing the yearbook. “She remembers being with him, it was on the counter, she alleges, that he took it, he signed it and she was thrilled that he had signed it.” Tur follows up, “But did she see him sign it?”
Allred chews on her tongue for a couple of awkward seconds, admitting, “I haven’t asked her if she saw him but we did describe what happened that evening in question.” Tur continues, “I asked that because it seems like you’re not 100% sure that it is his signature and if you’re not 100% sure that it is his signature, why would you show it at a press conference?”
Ambulance chasing Allred can’t answer so she turns the question around, saying, “Well, why does anybody doubt that it is his signature?” Tur points out that both the Moore campaign and the candidate himself are stating that it is not his signature.
She replies, “Let him prove that it’s not. We have offered to provide it to an independent expert” with the stipulation that it be done within as part of Congressional hearings. Clearly they’re trying to hide the piece of false evidence and protect it from being exposed as every bit as big of a fraud as Allred and her client.
There is no legitimate reason to stipulate that the Senate involve itself in her little charade other than to have a basis, thin and weak as it may be, upon which to deny releasing the yearbook for authentication.
Allred then makes the insane argument that the Moore camp has not provided any evidence to support their assertion that the signature is a forgery when the means of establishing that evidence, the yearbook analysis, is being prevented by her legal shenanigans from taking place.
All she’s doing is reinforcing the popular opinion that the yearbook is a slimmed-down version of the Russia dossier and Judge Roy Moore is being railroaded just as the left is attempting to do with President Trump.
