Globalist Tony Blair Trying To Undercut Brexit – Farage Fires Back

The globalists within Britain are entering the next phase of their attempt to undermine a return to British independence through Brexit by mounting a PR campaign against it and telling the British people that, despite what their own thinking on the matter is, “surveys” and “public opinion” are against leaving the EU.

Neocon and the arguably the most hated man in Britain, former Prime Minister Tony Blair is the point man for the disinformation and messaging, telling a local interviewer, “I think it’s possible now that Brexit doesn’t happen. I think it’s absolutely necessary that it doesn’t happen because I think every day is bringing us fresh evidence that it is doing us damage economically, certainly doing us damage politically.” [ Video Below ]

Blair says, “I think public opinion is moving on it. Look, this time last year we were the fastest growing economy in the G7, we’re now the slowest. And our savings ratio is the lowest for fifty years. The investment community internationally has now gone really negative on us, our currency is down 10-12%, investment in the motorcar industry, for example, is down 30%, living standards are stagnating. This is causing us real damage.”

Blair’s focusing on the difficult transition period, which, as with the Trump agenda, has been delayed by globalists both within the UK, and the EU. The lower living standards and other problems are the result of reckless foreigner importation by the EU and were not sparked by a mere Brexit vote. The high numbers of low wage, high maintenance foreign competitors, just as in the US, are destroying the economic opportunities of everyday Brits.

MP Nigel Farage, who was the most instrumental leader in bringing Brexit to fruition, has a different perspective on things and not a very high opinion of the globalist hack. Farage says, “I think it was a pretty loathsome performance, frankly. I mean he’s showing people why he is now one of the most disliked living figures in British Politics.”

“He wants to reverse the results of a democratic referendum. He’s making it clear that anything must be done to stop us leaving the EU. He suggests that public opinion has shifted when actually there are more people in favor of Brexit now than there were at the time of the referendum.” Farage points out the failures of Blair in regards to the regional government in the past and the promises made but not kept, part of which came during his six-month tenure EU President back in 2005.

Putting the debatable economic arguments aside, Farage reminds his host that the primary driving force behind Brexit was the question of “who governs Britain,” reminding Mr. Blair, who may not have been listening during the referndum debate, “we wish to govern ourselves.”

We wish to govern ourselves

Farage points out the flaw in the Blair argument that with the election of Macron, “reform is now on the agenda.” Farage agrees, but qualifies it with the statement that, “Reform, in Brussels, means more centralization of powers, not less. So the EU is going in completely the wrong direction. It is in the midst now of its bigger ever argument over the migration crisis and I think that we’ve left at exactly the right time.”

He points out that, just as the Trump administration is facing a daily onslaught of negative public disinformation, those opposing Brexit are, lead by Tony Blair, mounting a similar media campaign as well. The good guys lack a “coherent business organization” with which to counter that attack at the present.

Farage is still confident that Britain will leave the EU, saying, “of that I’ve got no doubt at all.” He says, “My concern now is that the deal will get so watered down that we’ll have left in name only.” The globalists and progressives never quit, the only way to defeat them is to eliminate them.
