Rep Gaetz asks direct questions, the kind that McCabe likely had difficulty in evading and incorporating lies into. Rather than law enforcement, protecting Clinton was the focus of
With three closed-door appearances testifying before Congress this week, the latest on Friday before the House Judiciary Committee, FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe is clearly up to his eyeball in suspicion.
Rep Matt Gaetz was one of those on the Judiciary Committee asking questions, saying they are looking into McCabe’s handling of the Clinton email scandal, the Clinton Foundation and bribes or other improper payments.
Gaetz says, “I can certainly say that my impression after these interviews is that there was extreme pro-Hillary Clinton bias that benefited her in this investigation and that she received special treatment as a consequence of her candidacy for president. That shouldn’t happen. The law should apply equally to all Americans whether they are political candidates or not.”
They view a clip of Sheila Jackson Lee, who somehow sits on the House Intelligence Committee, now absent any nose bleed or other unidentified facial object below her left nasal cave, making her typical blusterous threats.
She said, “This gentleman’s potential firing, from my perspective, is a red line in the sand, for the President, for the FBI Director, the Attorney General and the Deputy Attorney General. You cannot dismantle a law enforcement officer on political beliefs, and political attitudes, and political disagreements and political bias.” [[VIDEO BELOW]]
How about politically motivated crimes and abuse of office for political reasons, Lee? Can you “dismantle” criminals like him and Clinton for their politically motivated crimes?
Gaetz points out that Lee is making the same type of statements she always makes, regardless of whether the facts support them or not. He addresses the fact that Hillary Clinton got an “HQ Special,” a “Headquarters Special,” meaning she got special treatment outside of the normal process, administered by a small group of her supporters.
He notes that that is why she was able to walk rather than being presently incarcerated in a federal prison. He says they’re out to restore confidence in the FBI, “And we can’t have a bunch of autocrats there trying to undermine the duly-elected President of the United States. That’s what we’re fighting for, rule of law and fair democracy where we get to actually have the President we elected.”
Gaetz predicts that by the end of the first quarter of next year there will be a conclusion to the Russia, Russia, Russia but the reform needed to guard against this kind of takeover of these critical institutions happening again will take longer to determine and implement.
