Fitton exposes the hypocrisy of Obama’s #2 at DOJ under Loretta Lynch, Sally Yates. She’s engaged in the COUP cover up, accusing Trump of the things she, Lynch…
Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton weighs in on the outlandish, almost bizarre claims of Obama deep state operative Sally Yates, who was the acting Attorney General of the United States for ten days before she was fired by President Trump for insubordination and refusing to carry out the duties of the office she held.
Fitton is asked for his response to Yates’ accusations that President Trump is engaged in an “assault on the rule of law.” Fitton replies, “Well, it’s a bit rich, given the fact that she was fired as acting AG for her refusal to uphold the rule of law, Trump’s travel ban, she just refused to defend it, contrary to her obligations as a lawyer and Attorney General, she got fired.” [[WATCH VIDEO BELOW]]
He continues, “And she was the number two in the Obama Justice Department, she was Obama’s Rod Rosenstein, so she would have signed off on the Clinton DNC dossier misuse before the FISA courts. She would have signed off on the Spygate spy. She would have signed off on the use of national security letters to take up the Trump campaign’s phone records.”
“She would have signed off on all of this ‘investigating’ that was really just targeting of Donald Trump,” says Fitton. “And when Giuliani talks about the illegitimate nature of the Mueller investigation, it’s because of the activities of people like Sally Yates, who set up the Mueller investigation, including the Flynn ambush interview that led to his plea deal that have raised questions about the Mueller operation itself.”
Fitton points out that the President has an obligation when he becomes aware of possible DOJ and FBI abuse of the law “to raise issues and to say ‘you need to investigate this.'” Griff Jenkins brings the discussion to her denouncing Trump for supposedly “directing the DOJ,” something that he has been remiss in doing when a much stronger hand has been called for, preferably a backhand across the chops of both Jeff Sessions and Rod Rosenstein.
Laughing at the idiocy of that position, Fitton points out that “the only thing he’s done, he’s asked the DOJ to investigate the allegations behind Spygate. And frankly, he could be doing a whole lot more under the Constitution to bring the Justice Department back under control.”
He points out that Hussein Obama publicly stated that Hillary Clinton shouldn’t be prosecuted in the middle of that “investigation,” asking, “Did Sally Yates complain about that? I don’t think so. You had Hillary Clinton’s investigation thoroughly politicized because of what Barack Obama did, but she had no problem with that.”
Fitton noted, “And of course Barack Obama was briefed on the anti-Trump investigation repeatedly, she had no problem with that.” Asked if he believes Sally Yates should appear before Congress to answer questions about her conduct and involvement in the COUP, Fitton replies, “Sally Yates would be a top witness in the abuses of the Justice Department, targeting President Trump, and helping Hillary Clinton, for sure.”
