Lou Dobbs reports on the revelation that Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein gave Grand Inquisitor Robert Mueller “super-secret special permission to expand his special counsel investigation into Paul Manafort’s business dealings” back in August.

“It’s only now public because in a court filing requested by attorneys for Paul Manafort it was produced.” Dobbs notes that the document is severely redacted, asking Chris Farrell of Judicial Watch, “What is this, is it a star chamber? What has the Justice Department become?”   [[WATCH VIDEO BELOW]]

Farrell describes it as “a really gross abuse of due process. If you’re going to charge somebody criminally there are procedures for doing so. One of the fundamental pieces is something called Brady material, and that is if you’re going to charge somebody and prosecute them criminally, you’ve got to put all of the cards on the table. You have to explain what it is they’re being charged with and how and why.”

You can’t have secret stuff,” says Farrell, “and this is really what’s happened here.” He says what has happened is outside the normal scope of due process and “they are abusing the system. They’re hunting for scalps and they’ll do anything they can to get them.”

Dobbs expresses his frustration with the rogue nature of the prosecutors determined to “go out and do whatever it takes to get a prosecution. The hell they will! There is supposed to be a crime involved here. That’s what they’re supposed to be investigating. They’ve never enunciated a crime. They don’t have evidence of a crime.”

Dobbs says, “It’s un-American, it’s stupid, and what I cannot understand is why there is not an outrage in the leadership of the House and the Senate, saying end it and end it now.” Farrell nails the reason for that particular situation saying, “Well, the House and the Senate are leaderless, it’s a joke.”

Farrell points an inconsistency on the part of the witch hunt leadership, of them not getting their crooked story straight or circumstances exposing their crookedness, saying, “They claimed it was classified and then they submitted it to the court. Well which one is it? Is it really a classified document or is this something that goes into the public record as part of a criminal court proceeding? You can’t have it both ways.”

After Farrell notes that this is grounds, in his opinion, for Rosenstein to be canned, and elaborates on the lawless nature of Robert Mueller, Dobbs asks, “He really is without integrity, isn’t he?” Farrell agrees, “He is, utterly without integrity. He knows how conflicted he is. He’s best buddies with Comey. He had Lisa Monaco, his former chief of staff, sitting in the Obama White House, coordinating with the whole McCabe-Strzok-Page nonsense.”

“They had the former number four guy at Justice, Bruce Ohr, acting as the personal intermediary, funneling stuff from Christopher Steele’s dossier into the Justice Department and over to Mueller. How much more conflicted can it be?”

Dobbs shifts to the open borders agitators marching through Mexico and their leftist demands of the US and Mexico, in which the Hondurans claim they are as much citizens of either Mexico or the United States as real citizens.

As for the dispatching of the National Guard to the border, Farrell says he’d love to see the rules of engagement to make certain they’re not just pretending to be a military presence but will use force if necessary.

He also wonders “What the instructions are from the State Department to the US Ambassador in Mexico City and in Tegucigalpa, Honduras and in Guatemala. What are they being told to communicate to those nations that these groups have transited? I want to know what the Attorney General and Secretary Nielsen of Homeland Security, what are they saying and doing?”

He adds, “I also want to know what is being done for these US entities that are sponsoring and subsidizing this, because it appears that they’re engaged in criminal activity.”

  1. It’s hard to know what is even legal anymore. Is Congressional Oversight toothless or complicit. Sessions could reverse his recusal and take charge of the DOJ.

Congress not being able to get documents is puzzling since the DOJ “serves” under the President and he can order Sessions to make documents available. This is a run away train with no engineer on board.

Never-Trumpers McConnell and Ryan are not going to run interference for the President unless someone coerces them, or buys them off with a biiiig donation, neither of which is very likely. Trump has little to no support from ANYone in Congress.

  3. lol.
hell, we have already determined months ago that this BEAVER LOOKING ROD ROSENSTEIN AND MULLER AND THE REST OF THESE TRAITORS AND CRIMINALS ARE – involved by documents presented so far.
all we need IS A REAL AG BECAUSE SESSIONS IS NOT GOING TO DO ANYTHING BUT ALLOW OTHERS TO DO HIS JOB FOR HIM, WHICH IS NOTHING.
and i will be the FIRST who is SURPRISED IF ANYONE IS INDICTED.
