Farrell and Dobbs discuss the “in your face” lawlessness of DOJ and FBI, daring those with oversight to stop them. They agree something has to be done quickly, as…
Lou Dobbs can barely hide his fury at the arrogant statement by the FBI in their defense of covering up information that would further expose their seemingly boundless corruption. The documents involve secret meetings between James Comey and Hussein Obama, meetings that Comey has already lied about to Congress.
Dobbs quotes a portion of the FBI statement which says, “[Such information is not] a matter of widespread and exceptional media interest in which there exists possible questions about the government’s integrity which affects public confidence.”
“If you had any doubt about the corruption of the FBI,” says Dobbs, “that statement alone should answer all of your questions.” In greeting his guest, Chris Farrell of Judicial Watch, Dobbs says, “Let’s start with just the idea that the FBI would have the guts to put out such a statement and there isn’t a reaction from Congress.” [[VIDEO BELOW]]
Farrell notes that a reaction is also missing from AG Sessions, particularly given the strong rebuke the deep state’s cover man got from President Trump earlier in the week. Dobbs has given up on Sessions. After the two of them go back and forth about just how bad things are and how completely rogue the FBI and DOJ have become in defiance of any oversight, Dobbs asks if there is anything President Trump can do to change things.
Farrell replies, “The President of the United States can do an awful lot. He can ask Mr. Sessions and Director Wray to go away and he could do that at his discretion, he does not need cause to do so, despite certain White House counsels by the name of Dillon lying to the President.”
“But besides that,” Farrell says, “I encourage your colleagues in the media, various journalists of whatever stripe, to camp out and follow, ask questions, press Director Wray. I don’t know if he’s in a bunker or if he’s not responsive to press inquiries.” Dobbs interrupts, saying, “Oh I can tell you he’s in a bunker. There is no question about it.”
Dobbs points out, “He’s also perfectly willing to lie to the American people, to the Congress, to the President, to the Attorney General, if that’s relevant in his job. He simply says that the FBI is just fine; there is no corruption issue. Everything is just hunky dory in the view of Christopher Wray.”:
Farrell says that’s another aspect of his call for the disbanding and abolition of the FBI, recommending that their duties be transferred over to the honorable professionals of the US Marshals Service, a process he says could be accomplished in six to eight months.
Dobbs asks Farrell about the latest stunt from the “three stooges” of Comey, Brennan and Clapper to provide a little bit of what was requested by Intel Committee chairman Devin Nunes, with the deadline for production of a response to the ten questions now upon us and an extension given for compliance by Devin Nunes.
Farrell calls it for what it clearly is, saying, “Look, this is another stall tactic. It’s an attempt to muddy the waters yet again. Those three guys know exactly what they said, did, heard, who they met with. This is just more dishonest double talk.”
Dobbs asks, “So what do we do? What does Congress do?” Farrell says, “Nunes should go public. He should have a very clear declaration of who complied, who didn’t, who’s in contempt of Congress. These people have got to be pressed. We cannot allow the same routine double talk to go on. We’re really at risk of a collapse in this regard.”
Dobbs adds, “We’re certainly at risk of a constitutional crisis and it seems to be unfolding before our very eyes.”
