The interview with Chris Farrell of Judicial Watch begins with Shannon Bream playing a short clip of the watchdog group’s president, Tom Fitton, discussing the reopening of the Clinton email case by the DOJ. Fitton has some reservations about the product of the “investigation” and its legitimacy.

He said, “So the Justice Department asking questions is the least that can be done, given the outrageous sham investigation that took place last year.” He asks if this will be “another pretend investigation that is designed to mollify critics like the President and Judicial Watch?”

Chris Farrell joins her on the discussion, with Bream reading a statement that the FBI has been engaged in the reopened investigation of Clinton through their Little Rock, AR field office for months. She questions the legitimacy of the reopening of the case given the statement that it was closed due to conflicts between the FBI and DOJ. There’s no reason to believe that is really the reason it was shut down.

Farrell charges that his organization’s work has proven there was “absolutely no daylight between the Clinton Foundation and Secretary of State Clinton while she was ‘serving’ in office.”

He goes on to reference one email in particular in which Doug Band acted on behalf of a foreign diplomat to arrange a meeting with Clinton that he had been unable to obtain through normal channels. The motivation for Clinton to have the meeting was clearly delineated as his donor status with the Clinton Foundation.

Farrell points out that “This, in black and white, in their emails, communicating internally with each other, demonstrates that extra privilege, that extra access , this pay to play mentality.” He says it’s just one of hundreds of examples they’ve obtained through their litigation.

Asked if this time around will be any different than the Comey sham investigation, Farrell notes, “That’s what they rely upon, frankly, is a certain degree of fatigue and exhaustion from the public and having their spokesman go out and say, ‘Oh, not this again.'”

Farrell says the problem for the Clinton cabal this time around is that they now have actual documents showing guilt, such as sworn testimony by Huma Abedin and Cheryl Mills and others, “where the case is not good, it looks rough.” He adds, “Now, the Justice Department, with a fresh set of eyes, is really obligated to go forward and conduct a legitimate investigation.

In addition to the letter calling for Christopher Steele to be criminally investigated, Senator Charles Grassley also sent out another letter to the DOJ that Bream references, asking, “Have you initiated an investigation into the matter of whether Mr. Comey improperly disclosed classified information by providing these memoranda to Professor Richman? If so, what is the status of the investigation? If not, why not?”

She asks Farrell if he thinks that will go anywhere. He says, “It will because former Director Comey is a leaker. He took classified information and knowingly and willingly passed it on to a cutout to get it published in the New York Times.” Farrell notes, “He absconded with federal government records and then unlawfully leaked them.

He adds, In my opinion he is a prime suspect for prosecution…for mishandling of national classified information.”

1 Comment on Farrell – Sessions DOJ Has To Prosecute Clinton, Comey As Evidence Is Now Public

  1. If the Clintons continue to be let off no one can be prosecuted. There may not be one non corrupted elite in DC. They have to cover for each other. If I were President I’d appoint Judicial Watch as special counsel and root out the whole nest. Of course, up until now, he has been blind, deaf, and dumb, on the swamp.
