Facebook blocking conservative sites and articles is nothing new. In fact, it’s now become quite commonplace, standard operating procedure, for the leftist thought controllers to eliminate the share buttons on articles, restrict them from news feeds or in some instances to completely remove them. They can’t have the tender, sensitive minds of Americans subjected to unfiltered thought, especially “dangerous” conservative values ideas.
This writer had access to my own page, already greatly diminished through Mark Suckerberg’s efforts to police our minds and mouths, restricted earlier this week for two days as I attempted to convince them that I am who I am although there was never any reason to doubt it in the first place. Nothing changed but, as I told them, I believe my name simply came across on the “conservatives to mess with” list. It was my turn for the personal touch of tyranny.
They also messed with the Daily Caller earlier today, who committed the unforgiveable sin of having a popular article shared by their Facebook audience more than an arbitrary number of acceptable times. Of course just what is acceptable and what isn’t is a secret known only to the powerful Oz, one which has no upper limit for libtards and a low one for the good guys.
Facebook blocked users Friday from sharing a Daily Caller story on the 300 “missing” text messages between FBI Agent Peter Strzok and FBI lawyer Lisa Page. The documents had been turned over to Congress on Thursday night and, as Rep Ron DeSantis observed, we obviously incomplete, with the damaging information filtered out from the release by the Sessions gang.
Sometime on Friday afternoon, Facebook began preventing users from being able to share the story, warning them that it could be spam. They weren’t given an option to “share anyway,” so it’s not a warning, it’s censorship. The DCNF attempted several times to post it on Facebook after they received complaints from their readers and were each time rejected by the Suckerberg secret police.
Users were told they couldn’t see what they wanted to see, or read what they wanted to read. They were told to read something else. The notice stated, “Our security systems have detected that a lot of people are posting the same content, which could mean that it’s spam. Please try a different post.”
It could also mean that it’s not spam, just information that people found interesting or valuable, and no human, if they really exist at Facebook, apparently dared to interject themselves into the situation and challenge the decision of the robots. The algorithm is supreme, so long as it’s restricting conservatives.
Facebook admitted that the story “triggered one of our automated spam signals – likely because of the high activity that is mentioned in that alert,” and said they would take steps to correct the error. They did not say they would take steps to prevent it from happening again, though, and most likely have no intention of doing anything of the kind.
The Facebook spokesperson said that multiple news outlets appeared to have been affected by the algorithm’s “false positive,” and that “a few different links and publishers” were inaccurately blocked as “spam.”
It’s much more likely that the algorithm functioned just as intended, and that these instances will continue to increase until it’s not news anymore, just business as usual, something to be expected when dealing with anti-America authoritarians.
