Duterte Message To Trump On N. Korea Madman – Be Careful, Kim Wants To End The World

The aggression of Kim Jong-un and the very real possibility that a major, possibly nuclear, war could break out any time the idea popped into his perverse and twisted little mind is a serious concern for the nations in the region, whose leaders are gathered in Manila for the annual Association of South East  Asian Nations summit.

Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte, who is hosting this year’s event, on Saturday urged the United States to show restraint, following North Korea’s latest missile test, cautioning the US not to play into the hands of the madman who “wants to end the world.”

President Duterte expressed the concerns of the attendees, saying those in the Southeast Asia region are extremely worried about the tensions between the US and North Korea. He warned that one misstep would be a “catastrophe” and that Asia would be the first victim if nuclear war were to break out. He noted the United States, Japan, South Korea and China were sparring with a man who was excited at the prospect of firing missiles. Duterte, in his role as chairman of the ASEAN would be speaking with President Trump by phone later in the day and was expected to express those sentiments directly. President Trump did call Duterte after the ASEAN gala dinner, at approximately 11pm Manila time.

In describing the volatile situation in a news conference following the summit, Duterte said, “There seems to be two countries playing with their toys and those toys are not really to entertain.” He said, “You know that they are playing with somebody who relishes letting go of missiles and everything. I would not want to go into his (Kim’s) mind because I really do not know what’s inside but he’s putting mother earth, the planet to an edge.”

On Saturday, shortly after being warned by US Secretary of State Tillerson that a failure to curb their nuclear and ballistic missile programs could lead to “catastrophic consequences,” Kim fired another taunting missile, his fourth dud in a row since March. He’s not just a madman, he’s an increasingly frustrated and humiliated madman, which makes him even more dangerous.

Duterte urged restraint, saying, as the responsible and sane nation, it was the United States’ place not to reward Kim’s provocations by taking the bait. He said he was sure President Trump had instructed his military not to allow the situation to get out of hand.

Duterte added, “Who am I to say that you should stop? But I would say ‘Mr. President, please see to it that there is no war because my region will suffer immensely.  I will just communicate to (Trump), ‘just let him play… do not play into his hands’. The guy [Kim] simply wants to end the world, that is why he is very happy. He is always smiling. But he really wants to finish everything and he wants to drag us all down.”

Specific information as to the content of the phone conversation has not been made available to the public.

Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte is Spot-on!

  2. I knew I was right – about you that is! lol. Thanks for the info. What do I owe you? I see the similarities – they both have globalist VP’s who can’t be trusted. They’re both targets of the media (the MSM being global, it’s the same media). They’re both outspoken and hard workers in the interests of their people who refused to be led by another globalist, just like we did. They both have a swamp to drain. It appears they need each other, momentarily. And they like each other. Romantic, isn’t it? lol Thanks again.

  3. Yes, I read about him and liked his outspokenness and direct language. However, he didn’t call to offer the US help with North Korea, but instead he told Trump to, for all intents and purposes, back off. China called Trump and told him to back off. When push comes to shove, he may not be our ally. At a recent regional summit Duterte was accused of weakening Southeast Asian resistance to China’s expansionism in the South China sea. So I don’t romanticize his relationship with Trump. But since I value your opinion, based on your extensive knowledge, I will agree that Duterte is sincere and, although I don’t see it consistently, you’re most likely correct that he’s a straight shooter too.

His VP is a puppet of the last guy, Aquino, son of the former president who was elected after her husband, the last president’s dad, was killed in an airport ambush. the VP is a globalist who was supposed to be president like Clinton was until Duterte came out of nowhere like Trump did, still got second place in the voting so she’s the VP. Their media and political establishment are trying the same type of stuff with him. He was courting china and russia, partly for his hatred for obama and clinton, and a need to have a powerful partner. He should be good now, he’s prosecuting a Senator who had played a role in giving China permission to take the Spratleys, it’s still an “active investigation” implicating the former President aquino as well – who was and is the globalist puppet. Duterte looks solid to me, he cleaned up Davao city and got the criminals and terrorists out as mayor, but time will tell.

  4. Kim isn’t smiling because “he’s happy.” He’s a bobblehead who doesn’t know he’s smiling. He bobbles every time he rattles his weapons. He’s a maniac with delusions of grandeur and since it’s China that’s been feeding North Korea’s delusions, it’s China who should stop Kim. So consider why China is merely standing by, doing very little, if anything, while Kim continues to test nuclear weapons and by the way, why the UN hasn’t done more than it a verbal slap on the wrist? I see the posturing, but it lacks the intelligence necessary to mask the charade.

  5. First of all, the President of the United States doesn’t take foreign affairs advice from the Philippine leader with a big mouth. Second of all, this sounds like clarion call for war with Duterte saying what he’s told to say. Tell them they’re not going to get one. Our Founding Fathers didn’t ‘raise no fools.’ And don’t let Russia and China think they’re fooling us either. They didn’t mobilize their forces to North Korea to silence Kim. They’re there to stop US from stopping him. Case in point, what did China do immediately after Kim’s last nuclear test? It warned the US to back off! Some countries are so old they’ve just became senile. God bless America!

Duterte supports Trump, he hated Obama, Marlene – he’s warmed to the US since he was driven away by Obama’s arrogance and telling him how to run his own affairs. Obama criticized Duterte’s war on drugs and got the UN involved, Trump congratulated him on it and said he’s doing the right thing. He’s called the Phillipines Trump, they’re very much alike, he’s sincere, like him or not, he’s a very straight shooter.
