AG Sessions is covering up FBI and DOJ corruption in the Uranium One deal, gagging a witness to protect Mueller, Rosenstein, Comey, attacking Trump to hide their own guilt…
Lou Dobbs points out, “Today Russia owns 60 percent of the global market in nuclear power plants and the United States must now import 90% of its nuclear fuel.” He asks, “How could such a deal have ever been approved?”
There was some anti-American funny business going on that was covered up by the FBI and DOJ, that’s how, as he and Gregg Jarrett discuss, and the corruption and perpetual cover up is continuing and has expanded well beyond just those two agencies.
An exasperated Dobbs observes that “There is no order from Attorney General Jeff Sessions to lift the non-disclosure and to have that informant get over to the Senate Judiciary Committee.”
Jarrett replies, “It should be an absolute ‘no brainer’ for Sessions. He should have yesterday said, ‘Of course, I will tear up the non-disclosure agreement that’s gagging this confidential informant.’ But as I’ve written before, Sessions should have resigned because he’s in way over his head.”
He continues, “And he’s being manipulated by a lot of people in the Department of Justice who are either holdovers from the Obama administration or should never have been at DOJ to begin with, Rod Rosenstein in particular.”
Dobbs notes that Rosenstein is among “those that have been revealed in the reporting on the deal [Uranium One] itself, the bribery and racketeering charges that this informant made possible. How is it that Rosenstein and James Comey and the list goes on, and Robert Mueller, importantly, the Special Counsel. They have been in absolute conflict, it seems, throughout?”
Jarrett says, “It appears that Mueller, Rosenstein and Comey, who were all in on this FBI probe and all of the evidence that was gathered, covered it up. And they hid it from Congress, they had a legal duty to tell Congress. If they had told Congress, Congress would have surely stopped the sale of Uranium to the Russians.”
He notes, “There’s one other name that should be added to this that I discovered by reading through the published documents of the indictment and affidavits – Andrew Weissmann signed off on it. Guess where he is now. He’s on Robert Mueller’s special counsel team investigating Trump – Russian collusion, when in fact it appears he, along with the others, were covering up Hillary – Russia collusion.”
Dobbs makes the point, “With all of this in front of Congress now, I would guess there is 100% awareness among Congress, the Senate of what we’re reporting and discussing tonight. How can there be any hesitation? Stop the nonsense. Have the Judiciary Committees, the Intelligence Committees in both houses turn to this issue and get to work.”
“Because Clinton corruption is not the figment of a political presidential campaign’s imagination,” says Dobbs, “this is reality staring the entire country in the face, corruption that is beyond any expectation.”
Jarrett puts it plainly, saying, “Well, now it’s clear that Jeff Sessions needs to get off his duff and appoint a second special counsel to investigate Hillary Clinton over this whole Uranium One deal and the use of her foundation and the funneling by Russia, allegedly, of $145 million and money to the wallet of Bill Clinton.”
Jarrett says, “The key here is the confidential informant. You can’t hide that confidential informant from Congress, so says the United States Supreme Court.” He goes on to cite the 1927 decision.
Dobbs asks if President Trump can go to Sessions and force him to lift the gag order. Jarrett recommends having the White House Counsel do it, telling Sessions, “Look, Mr. Attorney General, here’s the supreme court decision that says you can’t block this confidential informant from talking to Congress.”
Beyond Sessions not simply being able to gag this informant, why is he motivated to shut him up at all? The Department of Justice is operating, still, under Sessions, as a tool of the deep state and shadow government of the globalist left, hand in filthy hand with the FBI.
Clearly Sessions is, for some reason and in some manner, compromised and acting to cover this up, along with those who were involved in the original corruption, many of whom are now engaged directly in attempting to remove our President from office. Was Sessions a plant by the left from the outset of the campaign, protection in case the “unthinkable” happened and Trump got elected? Jarrett is right – he needs to go.
